3. Setup
3.1. Charging and Installing the Battery
- Insert the supplied battery into the battery charger.
- Connect the charger to a power outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate.
- Once charging is complete, remove the battery from the charger.
- Open the battery cover on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the charged battery into the camera with the correct orientation until it locks into place.
- Close the battery cover securely.
3.2. Inserting a Memory Card
The camera supports SDXC/SDHC memory cards and features two memory card slots.
- Open the memory card slot cover on the side of the camera.
- Insert a compatible memory card (e.g., SDXC/SDHC) into one of the slots with the correct orientation until it clicks.
- Close the memory card slot cover securely.

- Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear lens cap from the lens.
