Step-by-Step Instructions
- Remove the Screw: Unscrew and remove the post from one end of the KeySmart Air Leather.
- Insert AirTag: Carefully slide your Apple AirTag into the designated pocket within the leather casing. Ensure it sits securely.
- Prepare Keys: Gather the keys you wish to organize. The KeySmart Air is designed to hold up to 5 standard keys.
- Add Washers (Optional, for 4-5 keys): If you are adding 4 to 5 keys, place one washer onto the post before stacking your keys. This helps maintain proper spacing and tension.
- Stack Keys: Place your keys onto the post, ensuring they are aligned and can pivot freely.
- Add Washers (Optional, for 2-3 keys): If you are adding 2 to 3 keys, place four washers onto the post before stacking your keys. This helps fill the space and ensures a snug fit.
- Reassemble: Fold the leather loop over the stacked keys and align the screw hole. Insert the screw back into the post.
- Tighten the Screw: Use a coin or a flat-head screwdriver to tighten the screw firmly. Do not overtighten, but ensure it is secure enough to prevent keys from loosening during use.
- Attach Car Fob: Use the included carabiner clip to attach your car fob or other larger accessories to the KeySmart Air.

Leather Care
The KeySmart Air is made from genuine leather. To clean, hand wash only. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the leather. Allow it to air dry completely.

Screw Tightening
Periodically check the tightness of the assembly screw. Over time, with regular use, the screw may loosen. Tighten it as needed with a coin or flat-head screwdriver to ensure your keys remain secure and prevent accidental disassembly.
Troubleshooting
Keys Feel Loose or Fall Out
- Check Screw Tightness: The most common cause for loose keys is an untightened screw. Use a coin or flat-head screwdriver to firmly tighten the main assembly screw.
- Verify Washer Placement: Ensure you have used the appropriate number of washers as described in the setup section, especially if you have fewer keys. Washers help fill empty space and provide necessary tension.
Cannot Fit All Keys
- Key Thickness: The KeySmart Air is designed for up to 5 standard-sized keys. Thicker keys (e.g., car keys with plastic heads, specialty keys) may reduce the overall capacity.
- Consider Expansion Screws: If you have more keys or thicker keys than the standard capacity allows, KeySmart offers expansion screws (sold separately) that can increase the capacity of your organizer.
