Setup and Programming
Initial Setup
After installation, perform the following steps to configure your lock.
1. Detect Left/Right Hand Door Installation
This step ensures the lock motor operates in the correct direction for your door. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to the video for guidance.
2. Turn On Auto-lock & Set Time Delay
The auto-lock feature automatically locks the door after a set delay (5-69 seconds). You can configure this delay time.
3. Turn Auto-lock OFF
If you prefer to manually lock your door, you can disable the auto-lock feature. The initial state of the lock is without auto-lock enabled.
4. Add New User Code
You can add up to 250 unique 4-9 digit user codes. Ensure new passcodes are different from existing ones.
5. Changing User Code
Modify existing user codes as needed. The new passcode must be different from all other passcodes currently in the lock.
6. Delete All User Codes At Once
This function allows you to delete all user codes simultaneously. The programming code will remain unchanged.
7. Change Programming Code
The programming code is a master code used for all programming functions. It should be 4-10 digits in length.
8. Add New Fingerprint
The lock can store up to 50 unique fingerprints. Follow the prompts to register your fingerprint by placing your finger on the sensor 5 times.

9. Delete Fingerprint
Remove registered fingerprints from the lock's memory.
10. Turn On/Off Sound
You can enable or disable the sound feedback from the lock. Note that the low battery beep will still sound even if the general sound is off.
Operating Instructions
Unlocking the Door
Your GUARDER lock offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door:
Unlocking with Fingerprint
Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock in under 1 second if the fingerprint is recognized.

Unlocking with Keypad Code
Enter your 4-9 digit user code on the backlit keypad. The lock will unlock upon correct entry. Use the code protect function to hide your actual code within a longer sequence of numbers.
Unlocking with Mechanical Key
In case of emergency or battery depletion, use one of the provided backup mechanical keys to unlock the door.
Locking the Door
You can secure your door using the auto-lock feature or by manually locking it.
Auto-Lock Feature
If enabled, the lock will automatically engage the deadbolt after a preset delay (5-69 seconds) once the door is closed.

Manual Locking
To manually lock the door from the outside, long-press the lock button on the keypad for 3 seconds. From the inside, turn the manual knob to engage the deadbolt.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The lock requires 4 AAA batteries, which typically last an average of 12 months. A low battery reminder will alert you when replacement is needed. To replace, remove the interior cover, swap the old batteries with new ones, and reattach the cover.
Cleaning
Clean the lock's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the power cable is securely connected.
- Keypad not lighting up: Verify battery installation and charge.
- Motor not turning with deadbolt: Ensure the lock cylinder is horizontal during installation. Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch mechanism.
