4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Main Unit

  1. Using Power Adapter: Connect the provided Type-C power adapter to the main unit and plug it into a wall outlet. The display will light up immediately.
  2. Using Batteries (Backup): Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. Note: The backlight will not stay continuously lit when powered by batteries only.

4.2 Setting up the Outdoor Sensor

  1. Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
  3. Select a channel (1, 2, or 3) on the outdoor sensor using the small switch inside the battery compartment. Ensure this channel matches the channel selected on the main unit for pairing.
  4. Close the battery compartment.
  5. Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation for accurate readings. The maximum transmission range is 60m/200ft in open areas.

4.3 Pairing the Sensor with Main Unit

Once both units are powered, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the display within a few minutes. If not, press and hold the "CHANNEL" button on the main unit to initiate a manual search.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Display Overview

5.2 Basic Settings

Refer to the buttons on the side or back of the main unit for navigation and setting adjustments.

5.3 Atomic Clock (RCC) Function

The weather station is equipped with an RCC function for automatic time synchronization. Upon initial power-up or after a reset, the unit will attempt to receive the atomic clock signal. This process may take several minutes or hours depending on signal strength. Ensure the unit is placed near a window for better reception.
