1. Introduction

The TOPDON ArtiDiag Pro is a professional-grade bidirectional scan tool designed for comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and maintenance. 3. Setup

3.1 Initial Power On and Configuration

1. Charge the Device: Before first use, ensure the ArtiDiag Pro tablet is fully charged using the provided charging cable and adapter.
2. Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the side of the tablet until the TOPDON logo appears.
3. Language Selection: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language (English is default).
4. Time Zone Setting: Choose your local time zone for accurate record-keeping.
5. Wi-Fi Connection: Connect the device to a stable Wi-Fi network to enable software updates and online functions.

3.2 Connecting to Vehicle

1. Locate the vehicle's OBD-II port (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side).
2. Connect the diagnostic cable to the ArtiDiag Pro tablet.
3. Plug the other end of the diagnostic cable into the vehicle's OBD-II port.
4. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (engine off).

4.2 ECU Coding

4.5 FCA Autoauth

This diagnostic tool supports Autoauth for FCA SGW (Security Gateway) vehicles, including Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Fiat models from 2017 and later.

5.1 Software Updates

Your ArtiDiag Pro comes with 2 years of free software updates. Regular updates ensure compatibility with new vehicle models and provide enhanced features. After two years, a fee of $249 will apply for software updates.

5.2 General Care

• Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
• Store the device in its carrying case when not in use to prevent damage.
• Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ArtiDiag Pro, consider the following common solutions:
