- Connect to Host Device: Plug the integrated USB-C cable of the ORICO docking station into an available USB-C port on your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
- Connect Peripherals:
- Displays: Connect your HDMI monitor to the HDMI port and/or your VGA monitor to the VGA port.
- Network: For a wired internet connection, plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ45 port.
- USB Devices: Connect USB flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, or other USB peripherals to the USB 3.0, USB 2.0, or USB-C data ports.
- Power Adapter (Optional): If your laptop requires charging or if you are connecting power-intensive devices, connect your laptop's USB-C power adapter to the 100W Power Delivery (PD) port on the docking station.
- Driver Installation: The ORICO docking station is generally plug-and-play and does not require specific driver installations for most operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). If any issues arise, ensure your operating system is up to date.
Operating Instructions
Once connected, the ORICO docking station will automatically detect and configure connected devices. A blue LED indicator on the hub will illuminate when it is powered and connected to your device.
Display Modes
The docking station supports various display configurations:
- Single Display: Connect either an HDMI or VGA monitor for single external display output.
- Dual Display (Windows): For Windows operating systems, you can extend your desktop across two external monitors (HDMI and VGA) or mirror your laptop screen to both.
- Extend Mode (AAA/ABB): Allows different content to be displayed on each monitor, expanding your workspace.
- Mirror Mode (AAA): Duplicates your laptop's display on both external monitors.
- Dual Display (Mac): For macOS, the docking station supports mirror mode only (AAA) across both external displays. It does not support extending different screens.
Note: When both VGA and HDMI ports are connected, the maximum resolution for each monitor will be limited to 1080P@60Hz.

Power Delivery
The 100W USB-C Power Delivery port allows you to charge your host device (laptop, tablet) while simultaneously using the docking station's other functions. Connect your original USB-C power adapter to this port. The specific input power delivered to your device will depend on your charger's capabilities.

Data Transfer
Utilize the USB 3.0 and USB-C data ports for high-speed file transfers. These ports offer speeds up to 5Gbps, significantly reducing transfer times for large files. The USB 2.0 port is suitable for less demanding peripherals like keyboards and mice, preventing interference with high-speed data transfers.

Gigabit Ethernet
For a stable and fast network connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port. This provides a reliable 10/100/1000BASE-T Lan connection, ideal for online gaming, streaming, or large file downloads, bypassing potential Wi-Fi issues.
