4. Setup

Before first use, follow these steps to set up your coffee grinder:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all parts are present.
  2. Clean: Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a damp cloth. Wash the bean hopper lid and ground coffee container with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Ensure all parts are dry before assembly.
  3. Assemble: Place the ground coffee container securely into its slot. Ensure the bean hopper lid is properly seated and locked into place.
  4. Placement: Position the grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface, away from water sources and heat.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to grind your coffee beans:

  1. Fill Bean Hopper: Open the bean hopper lid and pour whole roasted coffee beans into the hopper. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line (capacity up to 250 grams). Close the lid securely.
  2. Select Grind Coarseness: Turn the grinding adjustment dial (often labeled "FINE" to "COARSE") to your desired grind setting.
    • Fine: Suitable for espresso machines, Turkish coffee.
    • Medium: Ideal for drip coffee makers, pour-over.
    • Coarse: Best for French press, cold brew.

  4. Start Grinding: Press the power button or activate the grinding process (often by pressing the central part of the dial). The grinder will start operating.
  5. Stop Grinding: The grinder will automatically stop once the selected amount of coffee has been ground. You can also manually stop it by pressing the power button again.
  6. Remove Ground Coffee: Carefully remove the ground coffee container from the appliance.
  7. Unplug: Always unplug the grinder from the power outlet after use.

Note: The appliance will not start if the lid is not properly closed due to the safety interlock feature.

  2. Empty: Empty any remaining coffee beans from the hopper and ground coffee from the container.
