Safety Information
- Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the tent fabric. The tent is made of flammable material and will burn if exposed to an open flame.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially when using cooking equipment or heaters inside the tent. Never use fuel-burning appliances inside the tent without proper ventilation.
- Site Selection: Choose a flat, clear area for pitching your tent, away from potential hazards like falling rocks, dead trees, or flood-prone areas.
- Weather Conditions: While the tent is waterproof, extreme weather conditions (heavy storms, strong winds) may require additional precautions or seeking alternative shelter.
- Children: Supervise children around the tent to prevent accidents.

Setup Instructions
The Quechua MH100 tent is designed for quick and easy pitching, typically taking around 10 minutes.
- Unpack: Remove the tent and all components from the carry bag. Lay the inner tent flat on your chosen campsite.
- Assemble Poles: Connect the fiberglass pole sections. The tent uses a simple dome structure with two main poles.
- Insert Poles: Slide the assembled poles through the sleeves on the inner tent. Ensure they cross at the top.
- Secure Poles: Insert the ends of the poles into the grommets or pins located at the corners of the inner tent. This will raise the tent structure.
- Attach Flysheet: Drape the flysheet over the inner tent, aligning the doors and vents. Secure the flysheet to the inner tent structure using the clips or buckles provided at the corners.
- Stake Down: Use the tent stakes to secure the corners of the tent body and the flysheet to the ground. Ensure the tent is taut to prevent flapping in the wind and to allow proper water runoff.
- Attach Guylines: Extend and stake out the guylines for added stability, especially in windy conditions. Adjust tension as needed.

Operating (Usage)
- Ventilation: The MH100 features an "Ultra Fresh" design for optimal airflow. Utilize the two doors and any integrated vents to maximize air circulation and minimize condensation, especially during warm weather.
- Doors: The tent has two doors for convenient entry and exit. Use the zippers carefully to avoid snagging the fabric. Roll up and secure the door flaps when open to prevent them from obstructing the entrance.
- Storage Pockets: Use any internal pockets for organizing small items.
- Weather Protection: Ensure the flysheet is properly tensioned and all zippers are closed during rain to maintain waterproof integrity.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the tent with a sponge and soapy water. Do not use harsh detergents or a washing machine, as this can damage the waterproof coating. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away. Packing a damp tent can lead to mildew, odors, and damage to the fabric and coatings. Air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Storage: Store the clean, dry tent in its carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Pole Care: Inspect poles for damage before and after each use. If a pole breaks, repair kits are often available.
- Stakes/Guylines: Clean stakes and guylines. Replace any bent stakes or frayed guylines.
Troubleshooting
- Condensation: Condensation is natural. Maximize ventilation by opening vents and doors (when weather permits). Ensure the tent is pitched in a well-ventilated spot.
- Water Leaks: Check if the flysheet is properly tensioned and covering the inner tent. Ensure all zippers are fully closed. Small leaks might be repaired with seam sealer.
- Difficulty Pitching: Ensure poles are fully assembled and inserted correctly into grommets/sleeves. Check for obstructions on the ground.
- Tent Not Stable: Ensure all stakes are firmly in the ground and guylines are properly tensioned and secured. Reposition if necessary.
