1. Introduction

The LEVOIT Vital 100S-P Air Purifier is designed to provide clean and fresh air for large rooms, up to 1074 sq. ft., with an air change rate of 1x per hour. For smaller rooms of 222 sq. ft., it can purify the air 4.8 times per hour. This AHAM VERIFIDE unit features a smart air quality monitor, Wi-Fi connectivity, a washable pre-filter, and specialized modes for pets and sleep, effectively capturing dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne particles.

2. Setup Guide

2.1. Unboxing and Filter Preparation

1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Open the front cover of the air purifier by pulling it from the top.
3. Remove the pre-filter and the main filter. The main filter will be sealed in plastic packaging.
4. Remove all plastic packaging from the main filter.
5. Reinsert the main filter into the air purifier, ensuring the arrow on the filter points upwards.
6. Reattach the pre-filter by snapping it into place.
7. Close the front cover securely.

2.2. Power Connection and Initial Start-up

1. Connect the power adapter to the port located at the back of the air purifier, near the bottom.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Press the power button on the top panel to turn on the air purifier.

2.3. VeSync App Connection

For smart control and advanced features, download the free VeSync app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your LEVOIT Vital 100S-P to your Wi-Fi network.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Control Panel Overview

The top panel of the Vital 100S-P features intuitive touch controls for various functions:

• Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
• Fan Speed: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High, Turbo).
• Auto Mode: Automatically adjusts fan speed based on detected air quality.
• Sleep Mode: Dims display lights and sets fan to quiet speeds for undisturbed sleep.
• Pet Mode: Optimizes air cleaning and conserves energy, effectively trapping pet fur and large particles.
• Timer: Sets precise start and end times for operation.
• Display Lock: Prevents accidental changes to settings.
• Light Sensor: Automatically adjusts display brightness based on ambient light.

3.2. Smart Control with VeSync App

The VeSync app provides comprehensive control over your air purifier:

• Control all settings remotely.
• Set custom schedules for operation.
• Monitor filter life and receive replacement reminders.
• Connect to third-party voice assistants for hands-free control.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning the Washable Pre-Filter

The pre-filter is designed to be washable, extending the life of the main filter. It is recommended to clean the pre-filter regularly, especially if you have pets or high dust levels.

1. Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
2. Open the front cover and remove the pre-filter.
3. Rinse the pre-filter under running water until clean. Alternatively, you can vacuum off accumulated dust and pet hair.
4. Allow the pre-filter to air dry completely before reinserting it.

4.2. Replacing the Main Filter

The main filter (HEPA and Activated Carbon) needs to be replaced periodically. The VeSync app will notify you when replacement is due. For optimal performance, use only genuine LEVOIT replacement filters (search for "Vital 100S-RF").

1. Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
2. Open the front cover and remove both the pre-filter and the old main filter.
3. Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
4. Unpack the new genuine LEVOIT filter from its plastic packaging.
5. Insert the new filter, ensuring proper orientation as indicated by the arrow.
6. Reattach the pre-filter and close the front cover.
7. Plug in the air purifier and reset the filter life indicator via the control panel or VeSync app.

5. Troubleshooting

• Unit does not turn on: Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the air purifier and a working electrical outlet. Check if the filter is correctly installed and the front cover is closed.
• Poor air purification: Verify that the filters are clean and not clogged. Clean the pre-filter and replace the main filter if necessary. Ensure the unit is placed in an open area, not obstructed.
• Air quality readings seem inaccurate: Clean the dust sensor located on the side of the unit. Dust accumulation can affect sensor accuracy.
• Unit does not restart after power loss: The Vital 100S-P requires manual restart after a power interruption. Unplug and re-plug the unit, then press the power button.
• App connectivity issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and the air purifier is within range. Restart both the air purifier and your router. Re-pair the device with the VeSync app if needed.
