5. Setup

5.1 Installation (Mounting)

1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable outdoor location with a clear view of the area you wish to monitor. Ensure the camera is within range of your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network or close to an Ethernet connection point.
2. Mark Drilling Points: Use the mounting template (if provided) or the camera base to mark the positions for drilling on the wall or ceiling.
3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the wall plugs.
4. Secure the Camera: Align the camera base with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws.
5. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into a power outlet.

5.2 App Installation & Connection

1. Download the App: Search for 'Ctronics Pro' in your mobile app store (iOS/Android) and download it.
2. Register/Log In: Open the app and create an account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: Tap the '+' icon to add a new device. Select 'IP Camera' or scan the QR code on the camera.
4. Network Configuration: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz only) or via an Ethernet cable.
5. Set Password: Create a strong password for your camera for security.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pan/Tilt Control

From the live view in the Ctronics Pro app, you can manually control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements.

• Pan: Swipe left or right on the screen to rotate the camera horizontally up to 355°.
• Tilt: Swipe up or down on the screen to adjust the camera vertically up to 90°.

6.2 Human Detection & Auto Tracking

The camera uses advanced AI algorithms to detect human shapes and automatically track their movement within its field of view.

• Enable Feature: Go to the camera settings in the app and enable 'Human Detection' and 'Auto Tracking'.
• Receive Alerts: When a human is detected, the camera will send real-time notifications to your phone and begin tracking the subject.

6.3 Night Vision

The camera features advanced infrared (IR) LEDs and spotlights for clear night vision, including full-color night vision.

• Automatic Activation: Night vision activates automatically in low-light conditions.
• Color Night Vision: The camera can switch to color night vision using its integrated spotlights, providing clearer details in the dark up to 30 meters.

6.4 Two-Way Audio

• Activate Audio: In the live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker.
• Listen: The camera's microphone will pick up audio from its surroundings, which you can hear through the app.

6.5 Recording & Storage

The camera supports various recording and storage options:

• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 64GB, not included) into the designated slot for local storage. Recordings can be accessed via the app.
• NVR (Network Video Recorder): The camera is compatible with NVR systems for continuous recording and centralized management.
• FTP (File Transfer Protocol): Configure FTP settings in the app to upload recordings to an FTP server.

7. Maintenance

• Clean the Lens: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
