2. Safety Information

3. Setup
3.1 Package Contents
Verify that all items are present:
- WapoRich RQ-US-E2-QX1201 Digital Pressure Gauge
- Two 4mm diameter hoses (25cm long)
- One 1/8 inch hose adapter
- 9V battery

3.2 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert a 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery cover securely.
3.3 Connecting Hoses
The device features dual input ports for pressure measurement:
- Connect the provided 4mm hoses to the Tube Connector (+) and Tube Connector (-) ports at the top of the manometer.
- Use the 1/8 inch hose adapter as needed for specific applications.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (
) to turn the device on. - Press and hold the Power button to turn the device off.
- The device features an automatic power-off function to conserve battery life.
4.2 Unit Selection
- Press the UNITS button to cycle through the 12 available pressure units: mmHg, inHg, ftH₂O, cmH₂O, inH₂O, Pa, KPa, mbar, bar, psi, Kgcm², and ozin².
4.3 Measurement Modes
The device supports three measurement modes:
- MAX Mode: Displays the maximum pressure reading recorded. Press MAX button to activate.
- MIN Mode: Displays the minimum pressure reading recorded. Press MIN button (often combined with MAX or DIF) to activate.
- DIF Mode (Differential Pressure): Measures the pressure difference between the two input ports. Press DIF button to activate.
4.4 Zero Function
- Before taking a measurement, especially for differential pressure, ensure the ports are open to ambient air or connected to the same pressure source.
- Press the ZERO button (often integrated with DIF or UNITS button, refer to device labels) to clear any residual readings and set the display to zero for accurate measurements.
4.5 Data Hold
- Press the HOLD button to freeze the current measurement reading on the display.
- Press the HOLD button again to release the data hold and resume live readings.
4.6 Temperature Display
- The device displays ambient temperature. Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

4.7 Data Storage
- The device can store up to 100 sets of data. Refer to the on-screen indicators or specific button combinations for accessing and reviewing stored data.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
- Hose Care: Inspect hoses regularly for cracks or damage. Replace if necessary to ensure accurate readings and prevent leaks.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on: Check if the 9V battery is installed correctly and has sufficient charge. Replace the battery if needed.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the hoses are securely connected and free from kinks or leaks. Perform the "Zero" function before measurement. Verify the correct pressure unit is selected.
- Display is dim or unreadable: The battery may be low. Replace the 9V battery.
- No differential pressure reading: Ensure both (+) and (-) ports are correctly connected to the respective pressure sources.
