4. Setup Guide
Setting up your VJOYCAR G20 GPS Speedometer is straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Placement: Place the G20 device on your dashboard in a position that does not obstruct your view of the road. Use the provided non-slip mat to secure it. The device's modern design includes a sunshine hood for improved visibility.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied 2M USB cable to the MINI USB port on the device. Plug the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port in your vehicle. If your vehicle does not have a USB port, use a car adapter (not included) to provide power.
- Initial GPS Signal Acquisition: Upon first usage, the device will take approximately 10-30 seconds to acquire a GPS signal. During this time, the display may show two green dashes or a '0' with 'km/h' or 'mph'. Ensure the device has a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception; it cannot work indoors.

5. Operating Instructions
The VJOYCAR G20 is designed for simple operation without any physical buttons for settings. Its primary function is to display your vehicle's speed.
- Automatic Power On/Off: The device features a built-in vibration sensor. When it detects car motion, it will automatically power on and display the driving speed. If the vehicle remains stationary for more than 3 minutes, the device will automatically power off to conserve battery.
- Speed Display: The G20 displays speed in large, easy-to-read green digital fonts. The speed unit is exclusively MPH (Miles Per Hour). The device does not support KM/H.
- Accurate Readings: The device uses a 10 Hz high refresh rate GPS + Beidou dual-mode chip, ensuring that the speed is updated 10 times per second for highly accurate and fluent readings without delay.
- Visibility: The display is designed to be clearly visible in various lighting conditions, including bright daylight and at night, thanks to its large font and optimized brightness.
