2. USB/SD Card Insertion and Formatting
The mixer supports direct recording and playback via USB flash drives and SD cards. For optimal performance, ensure your storage device is formatted correctly.
- When inserting an SD card, ensure the brass contacts are facing the front of the mixer.
- For recording, the SD card or USB flash drive should be formatted with a VFAT partition. Most new flash drives come pre-formatted this way. If you encounter issues, you may need to reformat the drive using a computer.
- Always power off the mixer before extracting an SD card or USB flash drive to prevent data loss.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your WEYMIC MX-80 mixer, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the mixer. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
- Dust Protection: The mixer features sealed rotary controls designed to resist dust and grime. However, it is recommended to cover the mixer when not in use for extended periods to prevent dust accumulation.
- Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Power Supply: Always use the external power adapter included with the mixer. Disconnect the power supply when the mixer is not in use or during electrical storms.
