2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always adhere to the following safety guidelines when using the ladder:

  • Ensure the ladder is fully open and the safety buckle is engaged before climbing.
  • Place the ladder on a firm, level, and non-slippery surface.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 150 kg (330 lbs).
  • Maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) while ascending or descending.
  • Do not stand on the top step or the tool platform.
  • Avoid overreaching; reposition the ladder instead.
  • Keep children and pets away from the ladder during use.
  • Inspect the ladder for damage or wear before each use. Do not use if damaged.
  • Ensure all rubber feet are in full contact with the ground to prevent instability.

3. Product Features

  • Sturdy Steel Construction: High-grade iron frame with a 3-layer enhanced structure (hard metal, polished finish, smooth lacquer) ensures durability and reliability.
  • Folding Design: Folds to a compact size (161 x 51 x 6.6 cm) for easy storage and transport.

4. Setup and Assembly

The HBTower 4 Step Folding Ladder comes largely pre-assembled. Minor assembly may be required for the tool platform, if not already attached.

  1. Unfolding the Ladder:
    • Place the folded ladder on a flat surface.
    • Gently pull the front and back sections apart until the ladder is fully extended.
    • Ensure the metal safety buckle automatically engages and locks the ladder in the open position. Verify that the ladder is stable and does not wobble.
  2. Attaching the Tool Platform (if separate):
    • Locate the designated slots or attachment points on the top section of the ladder.
    • Align the tool platform with these points and secure it firmly. Refer to any included diagrams for precise attachment.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Placement: Position the ladder on a stable, level, and dry surface. Avoid placing it on uneven ground, loose rugs, or slippery floors.
  2. Stability Check: Before climbing, gently push and pull the ladder to ensure it is stable and all four rubber feet are firmly on the ground.
  3. Climbing:
    • Face the ladder when ascending or descending.
    • Use the non-slip handgrip for support.
    • Step onto the wide, anti-slip pedals one at a time.
    • Maintain three points of contact at all times.
  4. Working from the Ladder:
    • Keep your body centered between the side rails.
    • Do not overreach. If an item is out of reach, descend, reposition the ladder, and then re-ascend.
    • Utilize the tool platform for holding necessary items to minimize trips up and down.
  5. Folding the Ladder:
    • Ensure no one is on the ladder and all items are removed from the tool platform.
    • Disengage the metal safety buckle (if manual release is required, otherwise it will release as you fold).
    • Gently push the front and back sections together until the ladder is fully folded.
    • Store in a dry, safe place.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your HBTower ladder:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the ladder with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all joints, rivets, and moving parts for looseness, damage, or wear.
  • Rubber Components: Ensure the non-slip handgrip, pedal patterns, and horseshoe rubber feet are intact and not worn out. Replace if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the folded ladder in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, to prevent material degradation.
