5. Setup

  1. Unpacking and Inspection: Carefully remove the ultrasonic cleaner from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. Report any damage to the supplier immediately. Ensure all accessories (lid, basket, drain valve) are present.
  2. Placement: Place the unit on a firm, level, and stable surface capable of supporting its weight when filled. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and easy access to controls and the drain valve. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position. Connect the power cord securely to the unit's power inlet and then to a grounded electrical outlet that matches the specified voltage (220-240V AC, 50Hz).
  4. Filling the Tank: Open the lid. Fill the stainless steel tank with an appropriate ultrasonic cleaning solution. Ensure the liquid level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines, typically covering the items to be cleaned. Do not overfill to prevent spillage during operation.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: After filling the tank, close the lid and turn on the main power switch. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Set Temperature (Optional): Press the 'Temp' button and use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired cleaning solution temperature (20-80°C). The heating indicator will light up, and the unit will begin heating.
  3. Set Cleaning Time: Press the 'Time' button and use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired cleaning duration (1-30 minutes).
  4. Select Ultrasonic Frequency: The unit offers 40KHz and 28KHz frequencies. Select the appropriate frequency based on the items being cleaned. 40KHz is generally suitable for delicate items and intricate cleaning, while 28KHz provides stronger cavitation for heavy-duty cleaning of robust items.
  5. Place Items: Carefully place the items to be cleaned into the provided stainless steel basket. Lower the basket into the tank, ensuring items are fully submerged but not touching the bottom of the tank. Avoid overcrowding the basket.

  1. Start Cleaning: Press the 'Ultrasonic' button to start the ultrasonic cleaning process. The ultrasonic indicator will light up.
  2. Monitor Progress: The timer will count down. You can observe the cleaning process through the lid.
  3. End of Cycle: Once the timer reaches zero, the ultrasonic action will stop automatically. The heating element will continue to operate if set, until manually turned off or unplugged.
  4. Remove Items: Carefully lift the basket out of the tank. Rinse the cleaned items with clean water and dry them thoroughly.
  5. Draining the Tank: When cleaning is complete and the solution needs changing, place a suitable container under the drain valve located on the side of the unit. Open the drain valve to empty the tank. Close the valve once empty.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ultrasonic cleaner:

  • Draining and Refilling: Change the cleaning solution regularly, especially when it becomes visibly dirty or its cleaning effectiveness diminishes. Always drain the tank completely before refilling with fresh solution.
