Setup
Powering Your Radio
The i-box Tone radio can be powered by either mains electricity or batteries for portability.
Mains Power
Connect the provided DC 6V power adapter to the 'DC 6V' input socket on the side of the radio and plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
Battery Power
For portable use, the radio requires 4 x AA batteries (not included). To install batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the rear of the radio.
- Insert 4 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Antenna Setup
For optimal FM reception, fully extend the telescopic aerial. For AM reception, the radio has a built-in ferrite bar antenna, so no external adjustment is needed, though rotating the radio may improve reception.

Operating the Radio
Turning On and Selecting Band
Use the Power/AM/FM switch to turn the radio on and select your desired band (AM or FM).
Tuning to a Station
To tune to a radio station, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Fully extend the telescopic antenna for FM reception.
- Step 2: Switch the Power/AM/FM switch to either 'AM' or 'FM' to turn the radio on and select the desired band.
- Step 3: Slowly rotate the 'Tune' dial until you find your desired radio station. The analogue dial will indicate the frequency.

Adjusting Volume

Using Headphones
