4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your Linptech G6L Wireless Self-Powered Doorbell Push Button:

4.1 Choose an Installation Location

• Select a flat, clean surface near your door.
• Ensure the location is within the wireless range of your Linptech G6L receiver.
• Important: Avoid installing the push button directly on metal surfaces, as metal can significantly block the wireless signal and reduce the effective range.

4.2 Mounting Options

You have two options for mounting the push button:

Option A: Adhesive Mounting (Recommended for smooth surfaces)

1. Clean the chosen installation surface thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or moisture. Allow it to dry completely.
2. Peel off the protective film from one side of the provided adhesive tape and attach it to the back of the doorbell push button.
3. Peel off the protective film from the other side of the adhesive tape.
4. Press the doorbell push button firmly onto the desired surface for at least 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

Option B: Screw Mounting (Recommended for uneven or rough surfaces)

1. Use the push button as a template to mark the positions for drilling holes on the wall.
2. Drill two holes at the marked positions.
3. Insert the provided wall anchors into the drilled holes.
4. Align the push button with the holes and secure it using the provided screws.

5. Operating Instructions

The Linptech G6L Wireless Self-Powered Doorbell Push Button is designed for simple operation:

1. Pairing with Receiver: Before first use, ensure your Linptech G6L push button is paired with a compatible Linptech G6L doorbell receiver. Refer to your receiver's manual for specific pairing instructions. Typically, this involves putting the receiver into pairing mode and then pressing the push button.
2. Activating the Doorbell: To activate the doorbell, simply press the push button firmly. The kinetic energy from the press will generate a signal, which is then transmitted wirelessly to your paired receiver.
3. Signal Confirmation: The receiver will sound the selected chime and/or flash its indicator light upon receiving the signal.

Note: This push button cannot be used alone. A compatible Linptech G6L doorbell receiver is required for functionality.
