3. Setup and Assembly
The Robot Coupe R2 Dice offers versatile food preparation with its combination design. Proper assembly is crucial for safe and effective operation.
3.1. Batch Bowl Assembly
- Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
- Attach the 3-quart polycarbonate bowl to the motor base, ensuring it locks securely into place.
- Insert the smooth 'S' blade onto the motor shaft inside the bowl.
- Secure the lid onto the bowl, ensuring all safety mechanisms are engaged.

3.2. Continuous Feed Vegetable Prep Attachment Assembly
- Remove the batch bowl assembly from the motor base.
- Attach the continuous feed vegetable prep attachment to the motor base, ensuring it is firmly seated and locked.
- Select the desired processing disc (e.g., dicing grid, grating disc, slicing disc).
- Place the chosen disc onto the motor shaft within the attachment.
- Secure the lid and pusher assembly onto the continuous feed attachment.

4. Operating Instructions
The R2 Dice features a simple 3-button control panel for ease of use.
4.1. Control Panel
- On (Green Button): Starts continuous operation.
- Off (Red Button): Stops all operation.
- Pulse (Black Button): Provides momentary bursts of power for precise control.
4.2. Using the Batch Bowl
- Ensure the bowl and 'S' blade are correctly assembled.
- Add ingredients to the bowl. Do not overfill.
- Secure the lid.
- Press the green 'On' button for continuous processing or the black 'Pulse' button for intermittent processing.
- Press the red 'Off' button to stop. Wait for the blade to stop completely before removing the lid.
4.3. Using the Continuous Feed Attachment
- Ensure the continuous feed attachment and desired disc are correctly assembled.
- Place a suitable container under the discharge chute to collect processed food.
- Press the green 'On' button to start the motor.
- Feed ingredients into the feed tube using the pusher. Apply even pressure.
- Press the red 'Off' button to stop the motor once processing is complete.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your R2 Dice food processor.
5.1. Daily Cleaning
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Disassemble all removable parts: bowl, lid, blades/discs, and continuous feed attachment.
- Wash all removable parts with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- While the polycarbonate bowl is generally dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended for all blades and discs to maintain their sharpness and integrity.
- Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
- Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing.
5.2. Blade Care
The stainless steel 'S' blade and other cutting discs are extremely sharp. Handle with care. Store blades in a safe place when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting

- Appliance does not start: Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and all components (bowl/attachment, lid) are correctly assembled and locked into place. The magnetic safety system prevents operation if not correctly assembled.
- Motor stops during operation: Check for overloading. Reduce the amount of food being processed. Ensure the motor's ventilation slots are not blocked.
- Food not processing evenly: Ensure the correct blade/disc is used for the task. Do not overfill the bowl or feed tube. For continuous feed, apply consistent pressure with the pusher.
- Excessive vibration or noise: Disassemble and reassemble the unit to ensure all parts are correctly seated. Check for any foreign objects in the bowl or attachment.
