2. Safety Information

4. Operating Instructions

Your Arctic Air AF23 freezer is designed for efficient and reliable operation.

4.1 Initial Startup

• After installation, allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in.
• Plug the unit into a dedicated 115 Volt electrical outlet.
• The freezer will begin to cool. Allow several hours for the interior to reach the desired temperature before loading with products.

4.2 Temperature Control

The unit features an electronic thermostat with an external digital LED display for accurate temperature control and easy reading. Refer to the display to monitor the internal temperature.

4.3 Loading the Freezer

4.4 Door Operation

The self-closing door is designed to stay open when opened past 90 degrees, providing convenience for loading and unloading. Ensure the door closes completely after each use to maintain temperature and energy efficiency.

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

The unit comes with a condensate pan and a built-in heating element designed to evaporate excess water, reducing the need for manual draining.

5.3 Condensing Unit Access

The bottom-mounted condensing unit is front accessible and mounted on a slide-out rack for easy maintenance and cleaning. Regularly clean the condenser coils to ensure efficient operation and prevent overheating.

5.4 Door Gasket

The magnetic door gasket is removable and replaceable without tools, simplifying cleaning and replacement if necessary. Ensure the gasket is clean and forms a tight seal to prevent cold air loss.

• Unit Not Running: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Verify the circuit breaker or fuse. Ensure the temperature control is set correctly.
