Setup
1. Package Contents
Before beginning, ensure all items are present:
- Cordless Handset
- Base Unit
- Power Adapter for Base Unit
- Telephone Line Cord
- Ni-MH Battery Pack
- Battery Compartment Cover
2. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the handset.
- Connect the battery pack plug into the jack inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Place the battery pack inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks.
3. Base Unit Connection
- Plug the small end of the power adapter into the power jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the large end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
- Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into a telephone wall jack.
4. Initial Charging
Place the handset in the base unit to charge. The handset will display a charging indicator. Allow at least 10-12 hours for the battery to fully charge before initial use.
Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Press TALK, then dial the phone number.
- To Answer a Call: When the phone rings, press TALK or SPEAKER.
- To End a Call: Press OFF or place the handset back in the base unit.
Using the Speakerphone
During a call, press SPEAKER to activate the full duplex speakerphone. Press SPEAKER again to switch back to the handset, or press OFF to end the call.

Caller ID Functions
When you receive an incoming call, the caller's information (name and number, if available) will appear on the handset display. You can review the Caller ID log by pressing CID.

Phonebook Directory
The phonebook stores up to 30 entries. To access the phonebook, press MENU/SELECT, then navigate to the Phonebook option. Follow the on-screen prompts to add, edit, or delete entries.

Redial, Mute, and Volume
- Redial: Press REDIAL to view the last 5 dialed numbers. Press TALK to call the selected number.
- Mute: During a call, press MUTE to temporarily silence your microphone. Press again to unmute.
- Volume: Use the VOL ▼ and VOL ▲ buttons on the handset to adjust the listening volume during a call.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Phone
Wipe the phone with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or harsh chemicals as they may damage the finish or electrical components.
Battery Care
To ensure optimal battery life, fully charge the handset for 10-12 hours before first use. If the phone will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery from the handset.
Troubleshooting
- No Dial Tone: Ensure the telephone line cord is securely connected to both the base unit and the wall jack. Check if your telephone service is active.
- No Display on Handset: Make sure the handset battery is properly installed and charged. Place the handset in the base unit to charge.
- Poor Sound Quality: Ensure the handset is within range of the base unit. Check for interference from other electronic devices.
- Battery Not Charging: Verify that the power adapter is correctly plugged into the base unit and a working electrical outlet. Ensure the handset is properly seated in the charging cradle.
