Operating Instructions

The H400 features a large self-feeding hopper, allowing for minimal pre-cutting of ingredients. Its slow squeeze technology ensures maximum juice yield and nutrient preservation.

  1. Prepare your fruits and vegetables. While the large hopper can accommodate whole produce, cutting larger items into manageable pieces may improve efficiency.
  2. Place a juice collection container under the juice spout and a pulp collection container under the pulp outlet.
  3. Plug in the juicer and turn it on using the On/Off switch.
  4. Slowly feed ingredients into the self-feeding hopper. The auger will automatically draw the produce down.
  5. For fibrous vegetables like celery, it is recommended to cut them into shorter pieces (approx. 1-2 inches) to prevent clogging.
  6. Once juicing is complete, turn off the juicer and unplug it from the power outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The H400 features Easy Clean Technology, which includes a two-part auger and meshes designed to minimize pulp residue and simplify cleaning. The strainer-free design means less scrubbing.

  1. Unplug the juicer from the power outlet.
  2. Disassemble the self-feeding hopper and the Easy Clean chamber set from the motor base.
  3. Separate the two parts of the auger and meshes.
  4. Rinse all detachable parts under running water. Most residue will wash off easily without extensive scrubbing.
  5. For thorough cleaning, use a soft brush or sponge with mild dish soap.
  6. All detachable parts are dishwasher safe.
  7. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the motor base in water.
  8. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Juicer does not turn on.Not plugged in; parts not assembled correctly; safety lock not engaged.Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check that all parts (chamber, hopper) are correctly assembled and locked into place.
Motor stops during operation or struggles.Overloading with too much produce; hard ingredients; pulp outlet clogged.Turn off and unplug the juicer. Remove excess produce. Disassemble and clear any clogs in the pulp outlet or chamber. Cut hard ingredients into smaller pieces.
Excessive pulp in juice.Certain fibrous ingredients; improper assembly of the auger/meshes.While the H400 minimizes pulp, some fibrous produce may result in more. Ensure the two-part auger and meshes are correctly seated. For extremely fine juice, a separate fine-mesh strainer can be used after juicing.
Top cover or hopper falls off easily.Improper assembly; worn locking mechanism.Ensure the hopper is twisted and locked firmly onto the chamber set. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Juice leaks from the spout when closed.Spout cap not fully sealed; residue preventing seal.Ensure the spout cap is pushed firmly into the closed position. Clean any residue around the spout mechanism that might prevent a tight seal.
