Setup and Initial Use

Charging the Jump Starter

Before first use, fully charge the Povasee A50. Use the provided USB-C cable and a compatible 24W (or higher) USB wall adapter (not included) to charge the unit. The dual smart display will indicate the battery level during charging.

• Connect the USB-C cable to the input port on the jump starter.
• Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a suitable USB wall adapter.
• Plug the wall adapter into a power outlet.
• Allow the unit to charge until the display shows 100%.

Connecting the Smart Jump Cable

The smart jump cable connects to the dedicated port on the jump starter. Ensure a secure connection before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

• Locate the jump cable port on the jump starter.
• Insert the smart jump cable plug firmly into the port.
• Ensure the red and black clamps are not touching each other.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully to jump start your vehicle:

1. Ensure the jump starter is sufficiently charged.
2. Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
3. Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
4. Ensure the smart jump cable is securely plugged into the jump starter.
5. Check the indicator light on the smart jump cable:
   • Solid Green: Ready to start.
   • Solid Red: Reverse polarity detected. Disconnect and re-connect clamps correctly.
   • Flashing Red: Battery voltage too low or other error. Refer to troubleshooting.
6. Once the indicator is solid green, start the vehicle's engine.
7. After the vehicle starts, immediately remove the black (-) clamp from the vehicle battery.
8. Then, remove the red (+) clamp from the vehicle battery.
9. Disconnect the smart jump cable from the jump starter.

Using the Tire Inflator

The built-in air compressor can inflate tires and other inflatables:

1. Short press the power button on the jump starter to activate the display.
2. Connect the pump hose to the tire valve stem.
3. Press the 'R' button to cycle through pressure units (PSI, BAR, KPA).
4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired tire pressure. The maximum pressure is 150 PSI.
5. Turn on the air compressor switch (located on the side of the unit).
6. The inflator will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.
7. Disconnect the pump hose from the tire valve.
8. Use the included air nozzles for inflating balls, swimming rings, etc.

Using as a Power Bank

The A50 can charge your electronic devices:

• Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports (USB1 is QC3.0 fast charge).
• The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
• For 12V car devices, use the provided DC 12V Cigarette Lighter Converter and connect it to the DC output port.

Using the LED Light

The integrated LED light has three modes:

• Press the light button once for constant illumination.
• Press again for strobe mode.
• Press a third time for SOS signal mode.
• Press a fourth time to turn off the light.

Maintenance

• Charging: For optimal battery life, it is recommended to fully charge the unit every 3-6 months, even if not in use.
• Storage: Store the jump starter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it in a protective pouch or bag to prevent damage.
• Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all ports are free of dust and debris.
• Cable Care: Inspect jump cables and air hose for any signs of wear or damage before each use. Replace if necessary.
