The GEONFINO Smart Door Lock offers multiple unlocking methods including fingerprint, app control, passcodes, IC cards, mechanical keys, and Alexa voice commands (with included gateway). It is designed for enhanced home security and convenience.

3. Installation Guide
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. A detailed video guide is also available for visual assistance.

3.1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure the hole in the door edge is 1 inch (25mm) deep.
- Confirm door thickness is between 1-3/5 inches to 2 inches (40mm to 50mm).
- Verify the backset is either 2-3/8 inches (60mm) or 2-3/4 inches (70mm).
- The hole diameter for the lock body should be ≥ 2-1/8 inches (54mm).

3.2. Install the Latch
Insert the latch into the door edge. If the backset is 2-3/8 inches (60mm), no adjustment is required. If it is 2-3/4 inches (70mm), slide the slot to the right to extend the latch. Secure the latch with screws.
3.3. Install the Lock on the Door Frame
Ensure the hole in the door frame is drilled a minimum of 1 inch (25mm) deep. Install the strike box and strike plate on the door frame, securing them with screws.
3.4. Confirm Door Handing Direction
Determine if your door is left-handed or right-handed from the outside. This is crucial for correct handle orientation.

3.5. Keypad Settings (Handle Orientation)
For a left-hand door, rotate the front handle 90° to the left. For a right-hand door, rotate the front handle 90° to the right. Insert the square pole and ensure it is pressed to the bottom.
3.6. Install the Keypad
Install the keypad directly onto the door, ensuring the circular hole is centered with the square rod. Secure the mounting plate with screws.
3.7. Set up the Interior Assembly
Unscrew the rear handle screw and remove the rear handle. For a right-hand door, rotate the rear handle 90° to the left. For a left-hand door, rotate the rear handle 90° to the right. Install the rear handle as shown. Stuff the data cable into the door. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the interior assembly.
3.8. Test the Lock
After installation, test the lock's functionality by pressing the fingerprint sensor or using a mechanical key to ensure it operates normally.
3.9. Restore the Lock (Factory Reset)
To restore the lock to factory settings, press and hold the reset button (located on the interior assembly) for 6 seconds until you hear a beep sound. This will clear all existing settings.

4.1. TTLock App Control
The TTLock app provides comprehensive control over your smart lock. Download the app from your device's app store.

- Add Lock: Open the TTLock app, click '+' to add your lock. The phone needs to be within 2 meters of the lock during pairing.
- Unlock/Lock: Tap the unlock icon to unlock, long press to lock.
- Generate Passcode: Create permanent, timed, one-time, erase, or custom passcodes for various access needs.
- Send eKey: Grant access to others by sending an eKey via the app.
- Authorized Admin: Authorize other users as administrators with specific permissions.
- Add Fingerprint: Register up to 100 fingerprints for quick and secure access.
- Access Logs: View a history of all lock and unlock events.
- Remote Unlock: Enable remote unlocking via the app when connected to the G2 Gateway.
- Auto-Lock: Configure the lock to automatically lock after a set period (5-60 seconds).
4.2. Fingerprint Unlocking
Place your registered finger on the sensor for quick unlocking. The lock supports up to 100 fingerprints.

4.3. Passcode Unlocking
Enter your registered passcode on the keypad. The virtual password design allows you to enter random digits before or after your actual code to prevent others from guessing your entry.

4.4. IC Card Unlocking
Tap a registered IC card against the card reader sensor on the lock to unlock.
4.5. Mechanical Key Unlocking
In case of emergency or battery depletion, use the provided mechanical keys to unlock the door.
4.6. Voice Control (Alexa)
With the included G2 Gateway, you can connect your smart lock to Amazon Alexa for voice-activated unlocking. Ensure the gateway is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network and paired with the lock.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Battery Replacement
The lock uses 4 AA batteries. When the battery is low, the lock will provide an alert. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new ones. In case of complete battery depletion, use the USB-A emergency charging port to temporarily power the lock with a power bank.

5.2. Cleaning
Clean the lock's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
6. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels. Use the USB-A emergency charging port if batteries are depleted.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Handle direction incorrect: Refer to Section 3.4 and 3.5 for instructions on confirming door handing and adjusting handle orientation.
- Remote unlock not working: Verify the G2 Gateway is powered on, connected to Wi-Fi, and properly paired with the lock. Ensure 'Remote Unlock' is enabled in the TTLock app settings.
- Passcode issues: Ensure the correct passcode is entered. Try generating a new passcode via the app.
