Smarter Security & App Integration

Receive motion alert notifications directly on your smartphone via the Amcrest View app. The camera can also be monitored on a PC using Amcrest Surveillance Pro software or Blue Iris Professional. It supports Amcrest Cloud remote video storage, Amcrest NVRs, MicroSD cards (up to 256GB), QNAP NAS, FTP, and web browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Amcrest IP PoE AI Camera:

1. Physical Installation: Mount the camera securely in your desired outdoor location using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure the camera is positioned to cover the intended surveillance area. The camera's robust metal housing and IP67 rating make it suitable for outdoor environments.
2. Network Connection: Connect the camera to your network using an Ethernet cable. Since this is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) camera, it will receive both power and data through this single cable. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PoE injector or a PoE-enabled network switch.
3. Power On: Once connected to a PoE source, the camera will power on automatically. Allow a few minutes for the camera to boot up.
4. Initial Configuration: Access the camera's web interface via a web browser on a computer connected to the same network. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for default IP address and login credentials. It is highly recommended to change the default password immediately for security purposes.
5. Mobile App Setup: Download the Amcrest View Pro app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera by scanning the QR code or manually entering the device details.
