  1. After connecting the jumper cables to the vehicle battery and the jump starter, observe the indicator light on the smart jumper cable.
  2. If the indicator light is solid green, proceed to start your vehicle.
  3. If the indicator light does not light up or flash green (indicating a totally dead battery with voltage less than 2V), press the "BOOST" button on the smart jumper cable. The light should turn solid green.
  4. Start your vehicle within 30 seconds of the solid green light appearing.

Maintenance

Charging the Unit

To maintain optimal performance and ensure readiness, recharge the VTOMAN V12 Jump Starter every 3 months, even if not in use. Use a compatible Type-C charger (PD 18W recommended) to charge the unit.

Storage

Store the jump starter in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place. The unit features a 24-month long standby time, but regular recharging is recommended for longevity.

Cleaning

Wipe the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure all ports are free of dust and debris.

Troubleshooting

  • Unit does not turn on: Ensure the unit is charged. If the battery is completely drained, it may take a few minutes to respond to charging.
  • Vehicle does not start: Check that the jumper cables are correctly connected (positive to positive, negative to negative). If the battery is completely dead, use the "BOOST" function. Ensure the vehicle's engine size is within the recommended limits (10L gas/8L diesel).
  • AC Outlet automatically shuts off: The 100W AC outlet has a power limit. Ensure the connected appliance does not exceed 100W.
  • Smart Jumper Cable indicator light is red/beeping: This indicates a reverse polarity connection. Immediately disconnect the clamps and reconnect them correctly.
