1. Introduction

4. Setup and Assembly

The HESTIA Storage Bed Base requires self-assembly. It is recommended that two adults assemble this product. Please follow these general steps. Refer to the detailed assembly diagram included in your product packaging for specific instructions and hardware identification.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Accessing Storage: To open the storage compartment, grasp the integrated handle located at the foot end of the bed base. Gently lift the bed base top upwards. The gas pistons will assist in the lifting motion, making it effortless.
2. Maintaining Open Position: The bed base top will remain securely in the open position on its own, allowing you to freely access the storage space.
3. Closing Storage: To close the compartment, gently pull the bed base top downwards. The gas pistons will provide controlled resistance, ensuring a smooth and safe closing motion. Ensure no objects are obstructing the closing path.
4. Mattress Retention: The integrated bar stop at the head end of the bed base prevents the mattress from sliding off when the bed base is lifted.
