1. Product Overview

The AsperX AX4500 is a versatile and powerful jump starter designed for emergency vehicle starting and portable power needs. It features a smart chip for improved efficiency and integrates multiple functions including car emergency start, flashlight, mobile device charger, and DC output power supply.

With a 4500A peak current, the AX4500 can start 12V vehicles with up to all gas engines and 10.0L diesel engines. It is capable of providing up to 70 jump starts on a single charge. The device is equipped with a 4-inch LCD display to show operational status and battery level, and offers over 10 types of safety protections for secure use in various temperatures (-4°F to 140°F).

Beyond jump starting, the AX4500 includes a PD30W Type-C input/output and a Quick Charge 3.0 USB port, allowing for rapid charging of mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices.

2. Setup and Initial Charging

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your AsperX AX4500 Jump Starter. It is recommended to keep the battery level above 30% for optimal performance. If the device is not used for an extended period, charge it every three months to prolong its lifespan.

3. Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

1. Insert: Insert the jump cable into the booster port on the AsperX AX4500.
2. Connect: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
3. Ready: The LED indicator on the jump cable will show a correct connection.
4. Start: Start your car engine within 30 seconds.

Note: If the car battery voltage is extremely low (below 0V), you may need to press the "BOOST" button on the jumper cable to force start the vehicle. This action temporarily bypasses some protection functions.

Charging Mobile Devices

Connect your mobile device to the AX4500 using a compatible USB Type-C or Quick Charge 3.0 USB cable. The device will automatically begin charging. The PD30W Type-C port and QC3.0 USB port provide fast charging capabilities.

Using the Flashlight

The AX4500 features a built-in flashlight with multiple modes: constant, strobe, and SOS. Press and hold the flashlight button to turn it on. Subsequent presses will cycle through the modes. This feature is useful for roadside emergencies or working in low-light conditions.

4. Maintenance

• Regular Charging: To maintain battery health and extend the lifespan of your jump starter, ensure it is charged at least once every three months, especially if not in regular use.
• Storage: Store the device in its provided storage case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the jump starter. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Automatic Shutdown: The jump starter is designed to automatically shut down after use to conserve power.

5. Troubleshooting

• Device Not Turning On: Ensure the device is sufficiently charged. If the battery level is very low, connect it to a power source.
• Vehicle Not Starting:
  • Check that the jumper cables are securely connected to the correct battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
  • Ensure the jump starter has at least 30% charge.
  • If the vehicle battery is completely dead (0V), press the "BOOST" button on the jumper cable to initiate a forced start.
  • Verify that the vehicle is in neutral or park and the handbrake is engaged.
• Safety Protections: The AX4500 includes multiple safety features such as over-charge, short circuit, reverse polarity, low/high temperature, over-voltage, and overload protection. If the device detects an unsafe condition, it may prevent operation. Refer to the LCD display for error codes or indicators.
