Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Saker vacuum cleaner.

  1. Emptying the Dust Cup: After each use or when the dust cup is full, detach it from the main unit and empty its contents into a waste bin.
  2. Cleaning Filters:
    • HEPA Filter: The HEPA filter can be washed with water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting. It is recommended to wash the HEPA filter every 2-3 months, depending on usage.
    • Fine Steel Filter: The upgraded fine steel filter can also be washed. A simple rinse with water is usually sufficient. Ensure it is completely dry before reassembly. This filter has a longer service life, typically over 1 year with proper care.
    • Use the brush accessory to help clean dust from the filters.
  3. Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  4. Storage: Store the vacuum cleaner and its accessories in the provided storage bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
