  • Ensure weight is distributed evenly across the seat.

Adjusting the Canopy:

  1. Ensure no one is on the swing.
  2. Locate the lock and release system mechanism, typically on the sides of the swing seat.
  3. Follow the specific instructions in your diagrammatic manual to unlock and recline the backrest until it forms a flat surface with the seat.
  4. Ensure the recline mechanism is securely locked in the flat position before use.

  • Fabric (Canopy & Cushions): The thickened polyester fabric is UV light-resistant and waterproof. Clean with a soft brush, mild soap, and water. Allow to air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • The seat cushions are detachable for easier cleaning and storage.

Storage:

During off-season or prolonged periods of non-use, it is recommended to store the cushions and canopy indoors in a dry place. If possible, cover the entire swing with a weather-resistant cover to protect the frame.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Swing feels unstable: Check all bolts and nuts to ensure they are securely tightened. Verify the swing is placed on a flat, level surface.
  • Canopy does not stay in position: Ensure the adjustment knobs on the canopy frame are fully tightened after positioning.
  • Difficulty converting to flatbed: Ensure the lock and release mechanism is fully disengaged before attempting to recline the backrest. Do not force the mechanism.
  • Squeaking noise during swinging: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the springs and pivot points of the swing mechanism. Avoid oil-based lubricants that can attract dirt.
