5. Installation Guide

Follow these steps carefully for a secure and successful installation. It is recommended to have two people for installation.

5.1 Pre-Installation Checks

  • Check Wall Type: This mount is suitable for solid concrete walls, brick walls, and wood stud walls. DO NOT install on drywall alone.
  • Verify TV Weight & VESA: Ensure your TV's weight is within 35 kg (77 lbs) and its VESA pattern is between 100x100mm and 600x400mm.
  • Locate Studs (for wood walls): Use a stud finder to locate the center of the wood studs. Mark the drilling locations.

5.2 Attaching TV Brackets to TV

  1. Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
  3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes.
  4. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV, aligning them with the VESA holes. Ensure the hooks on the brackets face upwards.
  5. Tighten the screws securely, but do not overtighten.

5.3 Mounting the Wall Plate

  1. Determine the desired height for your TV. Hold the wall plate against the wall and use the included bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling holes.
  2. For Wood Studs: Drill pilot holes (e.g., 5.5mm / 7/32") at the marked locations. Attach the wall plate using the lag bolts and washers.
  3. For Concrete/Brick Walls: Drill holes (e.g., 10mm / 3/8") at the marked locations. Insert concrete anchors flush with the wall surface. Attach the wall plate using the lag bolts and washers.
  4. Ensure the wall plate is firmly and securely attached to the wall.
