4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging: the 1000W heater, digital controller, suction cups, sticker-type thermometer, and controller fixing sticker.
  2. Heater Placement: Position the titanium heating element fully submerged within your aquarium. Ensure it is placed in an area with good water circulation for even heat distribution. Use the provided suction cups to securely attach the heater to the inside wall of the tank.
  3. Controller Placement: The external digital controller is not waterproof. Mount it in a dry location, away from splash zones and high humidity. It is recommended to hang it on the outside of your tank stand or a nearby wall. Ensure the power cord has a drip loop to prevent water from traveling along the cord to the electrical outlet.
  4. Connect Components: Connect the heating element cable to the digital controller. Then, plug the controller's power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  5. Apply Thermometer: Attach the sticker-type thermometer to the outside of your aquarium, away from the heater, to provide an additional reference for water temperature.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Once plugged in, the digital controller display will illuminate, showing the current water temperature ("NOW TEMP") and the factory default or previously set temperature ("SET TEMP").
  2. Set Temperature: Use the adjustment knob on the external controller to set your desired water temperature. Rotate clockwise to increase the temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The temperature range is 64-93°F (16-34°C).
  3. Monitor Display:
    • SET TEMP: Your desired temperature setting.
    • NOW TEMP: The real-time temperature of the aquarium water.
    • Working Status Indicator: A light on the controller indicates the heater's status. Green typically means heating is finished or temperature is maintained, while Red indicates active heating.
    • Real-time Working Power: Displays the current power consumption of the heater.
  4. Automatic Operation: The heater will automatically turn on when the water temperature drops below the set temperature and turn off once the set temperature is reached, maintaining a stable environment.
  5. Temperature Memory: In case of a power interruption, the heater will remember your last temperature setting and resume operation once power is restored.

6. Maintenance

  • Regular Cleaning: It is recommended to regularly clean the heating element and its protective cover to prevent algae and debris buildup, which can affect heating efficiency. Use clean water to wash off any dirt.
  • Do Not Disassemble: Do not attempt to disassemble the protective cover or the heating element. Cleaning should be done with the unit intact.
  • Power Off Before Maintenance: Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
