Rotate the magnification ring to adjust between 1x and 4x power. The included throw lever facilitates rapid changes. For precise aiming, ensure the magnification is set appropriately for your target distance.

Reticle Illumination

The BDC reticle features illumination for enhanced visibility in various lighting conditions. Use the illumination knob to select your desired brightness level. Turn off illumination when not in use to conserve battery life.

Windage and Elevation Adjustments

The scope features mil-based elevation and windage turrets with 1/10 mil per click adjustments. These turrets allow for precise zeroing and adjustments for bullet drop and wind drift. The scope comes with multiple interchangeable turrets pre-calibrated for specific ammunition types (e.g., 6.5 Creedmoor, .224 Valkyrie, .223 REM 55gr FMJBT). To change turrets, carefully remove the existing turret and replace it with the one corresponding to your ammunition. Ensure the new turret is properly seated and aligned.

Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and performance of your Bushnell AR Optics riflescope, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Lens Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or lens brush to remove dust and debris. For smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics and a microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Body Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the scope with a damp cloth to remove dirt. Dry thoroughly.
  • Storage: Store the scope in a cool, dry place, ideally in its original packaging or a protective case. Ensure lens caps are in place to protect the lenses from dust and scratches.
  • Waterproof Construction: While waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion. If the scope gets wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Bushnell AR Optics riflescope, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Blurred Image: Adjust the fast-focus diopter on the eyepiece until the reticle is sharp. Ensure the target is in focus by adjusting the magnification.
  • Reticle Not Illuminating: Check the battery. Ensure it is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Inconsistent Zero: Verify that the scope is securely mounted and all screws are tightened to specification. Check for any loose components on the firearm or mount.
  • Turret Adjustment Issues: Ensure turrets are not cross-threaded and click positively. If using interchangeable turrets, confirm the correct turret for your ammunition is installed and properly seated.

For persistent issues, refer to the warranty and support section for contact information.
