3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the toaster and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or protective films from the appliance.

4. Operation

4.1 Toasting Bread

1. Ensure the toaster is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Place one slice of bread into each toasting slot. The centering function will automatically position the bread for even browning.
3. Select your desired browning level using the browning control knob (settings 1-7). A lower number results in lighter toast, a higher number in darker toast.

4. Press the toasting lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
5. Once the selected browning level is reached, the toast will automatically pop up, and the toaster will switch off.
6. To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the illuminated Quick Stop button.

4.2 Using Special Functions

The toaster features three illuminated function buttons:

• Defrost Function: For toasting frozen bread. Insert frozen bread, select desired browning level, lower the lever, then press the Defrost button. The button will illuminate. The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time.
• Reheat Function: For warming up already toasted and cooled bread without further browning. Insert toast, lower the lever, then press the Reheat button. The button will illuminate.
• Quick Stop Function: To interrupt the toasting process at any time. Press this button to immediately stop toasting and eject the bread.

4.3 Using the Bun Attachment

The removable bun attachment is ideal for warming rolls, croissants, or other pastries.

1. Place the bun attachment securely on top of the toaster slots.
2. Place the items to be warmed on the bun attachment.
3. Set the browning control to a low setting (e.g., 1 or 2).
4. Lower the toasting lever to activate the heating elements.
5. Monitor the warming process closely to prevent burning.
6. Once warmed, press the Quick Stop button to turn off the heating elements and carefully remove the items.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
