3. Controller Layout
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and features of your NYXI Joypad Controller:
- Left Joypad: Left Analog Stick, D-Pad, L/ZL Buttons, Capture Button, Minus (-) Button, Programmable Button (M1)
- Right Joypad: Right Analog Stick, A/B/X/Y Buttons, R/ZR Buttons, Home Button, Plus (+) Button, Programmable Button (M2)
- Both Joypads: RGB LED Indicators, USB-C Charging Port, Sync Button
Note: Specific button functions may vary depending on the game.
4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the controllers. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on each joypad and then to a USB power source (e.g., Nintendo Switch dock, USB wall adapter). The RGB LED indicators will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.
4.2 Pairing with Nintendo Switch
There are two methods to pair your NYXI Joypad controllers with your Nintendo Switch console:
- Method 1: Direct Attachment
Slide the left and right Joypads onto the side rails of your Nintendo Switch console until you hear a click. The console will automatically detect and pair the controllers. Once paired, you can detach them for wireless play.
- Method 2: Wireless Pairing
- From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select "Controllers" > "Change Grip/Order".
- On each NYXI Joypad, press and hold the small Sync Button (usually located on the side or bottom) for a few seconds until the RGB LED indicators start flashing rapidly.
- The console will detect the controllers. Once paired, the LED indicators will light up steadily.
Ensure your Nintendo Switch console is updated to the latest system software version for optimal compatibility.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Wake Up Function
When the console is in sleep mode, press the Home Button on the right Joypad to wake up the Nintendo Switch console wirelessly.
5.2 Turbo Function
The Turbo function allows for rapid, continuous input of a button press. To activate:
- Press and hold the desired action button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR).
- While holding the action button, press the Turbo Button (refer to controller diagram if available, or typically a dedicated button).
- Release both buttons. The action button will now continuously input until Turbo is deactivated.
To deactivate Turbo, repeat the process: hold the action button and press the Turbo Button again.
5.3 RGB LED Adjustment
The NYXI Joypads feature adjustable RGB LED lighting. Specific controls for changing colors or modes are usually found by pressing a dedicated LED button or a combination of buttons (e.g., L3 + R3 + A). Refer to the quick start guide or product packaging for exact button combinations.
5.4 Adjustable Vibration
The vibration intensity can be adjusted to your preference. This is typically done through a button combination (e.g., Turbo + D-Pad Up/Down) or via the Nintendo Switch system settings under "Controllers and Sensors".
5.5 Programmable Buttons (M1/M2)
The M1 (left Joypad) and M2 (right Joypad) buttons can be programmed to mimic other button inputs or sequences. Follow these general steps to program them:
- Press and hold the Program Button (often a small button on the back or side, or a combination like SET + M1/M2) until an indicator light flashes.
- Press the button or sequence of buttons you wish to assign to M1/M2.
- Press the M1 or M2 button to confirm the assignment. The indicator light will stop flashing.
To clear a programmed button, repeat the programming process without inputting any new buttons, or refer to specific instructions for a reset function.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To clean your controllers, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the controller's openings.
6.2 Storage
Store the controllers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If storing for an extended period, ensure they are fully charged to preserve battery life.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Controller Not Pairing
- Ensure the controllers are sufficiently charged.
- Verify the Nintendo Switch console is updated to the latest system software.
- Try re-pairing using both direct attachment and wireless pairing methods.
- Restart your Nintendo Switch console.
- Reset the controllers by pressing the small reset button (if available, often a pinhole) or holding the Sync button for an extended period.
7.2 Input Lag or Disconnections
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the controllers and the console.
- Move closer to the console.
- Check for other wireless devices that might cause interference.
- Ensure controllers are fully charged.
7.3 Buttons Not Responding
