2. Safety Information

- Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater has malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
- Overheating Protection: The fireplace is equipped with an automatic overheating protection system. If the unit overheats due to obstruction or malfunction, it will automatically shut off to prevent fire hazards. If this occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and remove any obstructions before restarting.
- Ensure the power source matches the electrical requirements of the fireplace.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- This fireplace is designed for indoor use only.

4. Setup and Installation
The FOGATTI Electric Fireplace Model FOEF-30A offers both wall-mounted and recessed installation options. The unit's dimensions are 4.9"D x 30"W x 19"H. The recessed dimensions are 27.6"W x 19"H x 6"D.
4.1. Installation Options
- Wall-Mounted: Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to secure the fireplace to a suitable wall surface.
- Recessed: Install the fireplace into an existing fireplace opening or a custom-built recess. Ensure the recess dimensions are appropriate (27.6"W x 19"H x 6"D). The wall-mounted bracket is not used for recessed installation.
- RV Compatibility: This fireplace is designed to withstand RV travel vibrations, making it suitable for RV installations.

4.2. Flame Bed Setup
The fireplace comes with both faux-fire logs and crystals. Choose your preferred option and place them on the flame bed within the unit before final installation or operation.

5. Operating Instructions
Your FOGATTI Electric Fireplace can be operated via the touch screen controls on the unit or the included remote control. The remote control has an operable range of up to 20 feet.
5.1. Basic Controls
- ON/OFF: Press the power button to turn the fireplace on or off.
- Flame Settings: Adjust flame color and brightness. There are 7 flame and LED flame bed color modes and 5 flame brightness levels. The fireplace can remember the last flame setting.
- Heat Settings: The unit features two heat settings (750W/1500W) and a thermostat with a temperature range of 60°F-97°F. It can heat up to 400 square feet.
- Timer: Set the automatic shut-off timer from 1 hour up to 8 hours in 30-minute increments.
- Child Lock: Activate the child lock feature to prevent unintended operation.

5.2. Flame Customization

- Ventilation: The unit is ventless. Ensure that the air intake and exhaust vents are not obstructed to maintain proper airflow and prevent overheating.
- Flame Bed: Periodically clean the faux-fire logs or crystals to remove dust and debris.
- Storage: If storing the fireplace for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a safe location.
