- Allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

3. Setup
3.1 Unboxing and Placement
- Carefully remove the freezer from its packaging. The unit is designed to be lightweight for easier movement.
- Choose a suitable location for the freezer. It is designed for freestanding installation. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Adjust the feet at the bottom of the freezer to ensure the unit is stable and level on uneven floors.
- After placement, allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to stabilize, preventing potential damage to the cooling system.
3.2 Initial Power-On
Once the freezer has settled for 24 hours, plug it into a grounded electrical outlet. The power indicator light on the control panel will illuminate, indicating the unit is receiving power.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Adjustment
The freezer is equipped with an adjustable thermostat located on the front lower right side. You can select the desired temperature by rotating the dial from 1 (Off) to 7 (Coldest). The temperature range is from -11.2℉ to 50℉, allowing for customized freezing or refrigeration for various food items.

4.2 Using the Storage Basket
The freezer includes a removable storage basket for organizing smaller items or frequently accessed foods. This helps keep the main compartment tidy and allows for easier access to contents.

4.3 Lid Features
The freezer features a counterbalance lid for easy and safe access, and a built-in hinge design that allows the lid to open and hold itself at a 90° angle, preventing accidental closure.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Defrosting
Manual defrosting is required for this chest freezer. To defrost, first unplug the unit. Locate the drain hole at the bottom left side of the freezer interior and the external drain plug. Remove the internal plug and unscrew the external drain plug to allow water to flow out. Place a shallow pan or towel beneath the external drain to collect the water. Once defrosted, clean the interior and replace the plugs before restarting the freezer.
5.2 Cleaning
Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the freezer. Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could damage the surfaces. Ensure the freezer is unplugged before cleaning.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your freezer, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Freezer not cooling: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Ensure the temperature control dial is not set to 'Off' (setting 1). Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Excessive noise: Ensure the freezer is level and stable. Check if any objects are vibrating against the unit. Normal operating sounds from the compressor are expected.
- Excessive frost buildup: Ensure the lid is closing properly and the gasket is sealing tightly. Avoid leaving the lid open for extended periods.
