3. Product Overview
The BOBLOV B4K2 is a compact and robust body worn camera designed for various recording needs. Key features include:
- 4K Video Recording: Captures video at 3840x2160P/30fps.
- 30 MP Photos: High-resolution still image capture.
- GPS Functionality: Records video along with the moving route, viewable with the provided GPS Player (Windows PC only).
- Extended Battery Life: Two 3000mAh batteries provide up to 12-13 hours of recording.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The B4K2 camera comes with two 3000mAh batteries, one of which is pre-installed. To replace or install a battery:
- Locate the battery door on the back of the camera.
- Slide the locking tab to the 'ON' position and simultaneously push the battery door to open it.
- Carefully remove the existing battery or insert a new one, ensuring correct orientation.
- Close the battery door and slide the locking tab back to secure it.

4.2 Charging the Camera and Batteries
Ensure your camera and spare battery are fully charged before use. There are three methods for charging:
- Direct Camera Charging: Connect the main camera directly to a power socket using the provided USB-C cable. The indicator light will be steady blue during charging and turn off when fully charged. If the camera is powered on, the indicator will be steady green.
- Charging Dock (Camera + Battery): Place the camera into the charging dock. The dock can charge both the camera (with its internal battery) and a spare battery simultaneously. The battery indicator will be steady blue during charging and turn off when fully charged. The power indicator of the dock station will be steady red when connected to power.
- Charging Dock (Battery Only): Place only a spare battery into the charging slot of the dock. The battery indicator will be steady blue during charging and turn off when fully charged. The power indicator of the dock station will be steady red when connected to power.

4.3 GPS Setup
To enable GPS functionality and record location data with your videos:
- Turn on the camera.
- Navigate to the 'Menu' settings.
- Select 'GPS' and set it to 'On'.
- For successful GPS location, take the camera to an open area. Red characters indicating GPS status will turn green, and the screen will display local coordinates and the number of satellites when a lock is achieved.
- To view the recorded route, use the seller-provided GPS Player software on a Windows PC.

4.4 Password Protection
The B4K2 camera includes a password protection function to secure your recordings. To set or change the password:
- Enter the camera's 'Menu' settings.
- Navigate to the 'Password' option.
- The default password is '000000'. Input this using the on-screen keyboard and confirm.
- You can then change the password or turn the password protection 'On' or 'Off'.
- When changing or turning on the password, use the Up/Down buttons to navigate, Left/Right buttons for selection, and the OK button to confirm.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Video and Photo Recording
The B4K2 camera is capable of capturing high-quality video and still images:
- Video Resolution: Records at 3840x2160P/30fps for clear, detailed footage.
- Photo Resolution: Captures 30 MP photos.
- Wide Angle: Features a 130° wide-angle lens to capture a broader field of view.

5.2 Night Vision
For recording in dark environments, the B4K2 features manual and automatic infrared (IR) night vision:
- The camera is equipped with 6 infrared lights.
- Night vision can be set to manual or automatic mode via the camera's settings.
- This feature allows for clear footage capture even in complete darkness.

5.3 Alarm Function and Quick Locate
The camera includes an alarm function for emergency situations:
- The alarm flashes with sound and activates a red laser.
- The red laser light assists in quickly locking onto a target.
- The red-blue alarm feature provides visual alerts.

5.4 Loop Recording
The B4K2 supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full. You can set the video duration for each segment:
- Available video durations: 5 minutes, 10 minutes (default), 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes (maximum).
- Adjust this setting in the camera's menu to suit your recording preferences.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your BOBLOV B4K2 camera, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Fully charge batteries before first use. Avoid completely draining the batteries regularly. Store partially charged if not used for a long time.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the official BOBLOV website for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your B4K2 camera, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Camera Not Turning On: Ensure the battery is correctly installed and fully charged. Connect to the charger to see if the charging indicator lights up.
- Recording Issues: Check if the Micro SD card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space. Ensure the card is C10/A1 rated. Try formatting the SD card (this will erase all data).
- GPS Not Locking: Ensure GPS is enabled in the menu. Move to an open outdoor area with a clear view of the sky. It may take a few minutes to acquire a signal.
- Freezing/Unresponsive: If the camera freezes, try performing a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds until it restarts. If the issue persists, remove and reinsert the battery.
- Poor Video Quality: Ensure the lens is clean. Check the video resolution settings in the menu; higher resolutions require more storage and processing power.
