Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Scale Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven or soft surfaces (like thick carpets) can affect measurement accuracy.

3. App Download and Initial Setup

  1. Download the free "Beurer HealthManager Pro" app from your smartphone's app store (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android).
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create your user profile. You will need to enter personal data such as age, height, and gender for accurate body composition analysis.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  4. Within the app, navigate to the device pairing section and select the Beurer BF500 scale to establish a Bluetooth connection.

Operating Instructions

Taking a Measurement

  1. Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Step onto the scale barefoot, ensuring your feet are positioned on the titanium-coated electrodes. Stand still.
  3. The scale will automatically turn on and begin measuring. Your weight will be displayed first, followed by other body composition metrics.
  4. The BF500 features automatic user recognition for up to 8 users. Ensure your profile is set up in the app for the scale to identify you correctly.
  5. Once the measurement is complete, the data will automatically sync to the "Beurer HealthManager Pro" app via Bluetooth.
