Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the tablet.

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the tablet's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V 2A power adapter (not included) and plug it into a wall outlet.
  3. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. Allow several hours for a full charge.

2. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button located on the side of the tablet until the AEEZO logo appears.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until a menu appears. Select "Power off" and confirm.
  • To Restart: Press and hold the Power button until a menu appears. Select "Restart" and confirm.

3. Wi-Fi Connection

To access online content and download apps, connect the tablet to a Wi-Fi network.

  1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top to open the Quick Settings panel.
  2. Tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon to go to Wi-Fi settings.
  3. Toggle Wi-Fi ON if it's off.
  4. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
  5. Enter the network password if prompted, then tap "Connect".

4. Kidoz Setup and Parental Controls

The AEEZO Kids Tablet comes with Kidoz pre-installed, providing a safe environment for children.

  1. Launch the Kidoz app from the home screen.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a parent account and set up child profiles.
  3. Within Kidoz parental settings, you can:
    • Set daily time limits for tablet usage.
    • Filter web content and manage accessible websites.
    • Approve or block specific applications.
    • Monitor usage statistics.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Navigation

  • Touch: Tap an icon or option to select it.
  • Swipe: Drag your finger across the screen to scroll through pages or lists.
  • Pinch-to-Zoom: Place two fingers on the screen and pinch them together or spread them apart to zoom in or out.
  • Home Button: Tap the circle icon at the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
  • Back Button: Tap the triangle icon to go back to the previous screen.
  • Recent Apps Button: Tap the square icon to view and switch between recently opened applications.

2. App Management

  • Opening Apps: Tap the app icon on the home screen or in the app drawer.
  • Closing Apps: Use the Recent Apps button, then swipe the app card away to close it.
  • Uninstalling Apps: Press and hold an app icon, then drag it to the "Uninstall" option that appears. Confirm the uninstallation.

3. Google Play Store

The tablet has full access to Google Play Store for downloading additional apps.

  1. Open the "Play Store" app.
  2. Sign in with your Google account or create a new one.
  3. Search for and download desired apps. Remember to manage app permissions and content through Kidoz parental controls.

4. Camera Usage

The tablet features a front (2MP) and rear (5MP) camera.

  1. Open the "Camera" app.
  2. Tap the camera switch icon to toggle between front and rear cameras.
  3. Tap the shutter button to take a photo or start/stop video recording.
  4. Access photos and videos in the "Gallery" or "Photos" app.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning
