2. Important Safety Information

- Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures (above 45°C or below 0°C).

3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours.
- Locate the USB Type-C charging port on the speaker. It is usually protected by a rubber flap.
- Open the rubber flap and connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off.
- After charging, securely close the rubber flap to maintain the speaker's IPX7 waterproof rating.
3.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
The speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection up to 10 meters (33 feet).
- Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to turn it on. A sound prompt will indicate it's powered on, and the Bluetooth indicator light will start flashing, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Philips TAS1505" from the list of devices.
- Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
- The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

4. Operating the Speaker
4.1 Basic Controls
The speaker features intuitive touch controls for easy operation.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once to play or pause music.
- Volume Up: Press the '+' button to increase volume. Press and hold for continuous volume increase.
- Volume Down: Press the '-' button to decrease volume. Press and hold for continuous volume decrease.

- End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds when a call comes in.
