5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Quadcopter Battery

  1. Connect the quadcopter's battery to the USB charging cable.
  2. Plug the USB charging cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator on the USB cable will show the charging status (refer to the cable's specific indicator behavior).
  4. A full charge takes approximately 60 minutes. Do not overcharge.
  5. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charging cable.

5.2 Installing Batteries in the Remote Controller

The remote controller requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting.

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

5.3 Pairing the Quadcopter and Controller

  1. Ensure both the quadcopter battery is charged and controller batteries are installed.
  2. Place the quadcopter on a flat, level surface.
  3. Turn on the quadcopter (connect the battery if there's no power switch). The LED lights on the quadcopter will flash.
  4. Turn on the remote controller. The indicator light on the controller will flash.
  5. Move the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down.
  6. The lights on both the quadcopter and controller will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Controls (4-Channel Remote Controller)

ControlFunction

Left Joystick (Throttle) - Left/RightRotate Left/Right (Yaw)
Right Joystick - Up/DownMove Forward/Backward (Pitch)
Right Joystick - Left/RightMove Left/Right (Roll)
Trim ButtonsAdjust for stable hover if drifting occurs.
One-Key Take-off/Landing ButtonInitiates automatic take-off or landing.
Speed Mode ButtonSwitches between Beginner and Advanced flight modes.
3D Flip ButtonActivates 3D looping function.

6.2 Take-off and Landing

  • Automatic Take-off: After pairing, press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button. The quadcopter will automatically ascend to a stable hovering height.
  • Manual Take-off: After pairing, slowly push the left joystick (throttle) upwards. The propellers will start spinning, and the quadcopter will lift off.
  • Automatic Landing: During flight, press the One-Key Take-off/Landing button. The quadcopter will slowly descend and land automatically.
  • Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick (throttle) downwards until the quadcopter lands. Once landed, hold the joystick down for a few seconds to stop the motors.

6.3 Headless Mode

Headless mode simplifies flight by eliminating the need to orient the quadcopter. When activated, the quadcopter's "forward" direction is always relative to the pilot's position at the time of activation.

  • To activate Headless Mode: Refer to your controller's button layout for the Headless Mode activation button.
  • To deactivate Headless Mode: Press the Headless Mode button again.

6.4 3D Looping Function

Perform impressive 360-degree flips:

  1. Ensure the quadcopter is flying at a sufficient height (at least 3 meters / 10 feet).
  2. Press the 3D Flip button on the remote controller.
  3. Immediately push the right joystick in the desired direction (forward, backward, left, or right) to perform the flip.
  4. The quadcopter will execute a 360-degree flip in that direction.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the quadcopter and remote controller with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use chemical cleaners or water.

7.2 Propeller Replacement

If a propeller is damaged, replace it with a spare propeller from the package. Ensure the correct propeller type (A or B, usually marked on the propeller and motor arm) is installed in the correct position.

  1. Carefully remove the damaged propeller.
  2. Using the provided screwdriver, if necessary, loosen any screws securing the propeller.
  3. Install the new propeller, ensuring it is firmly seated and secured.

7.3 Battery Storage

  • If storing the quadcopter for an extended period, remove the battery from the quadcopter and the AAA batteries from the remote controller.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Quadcopter does not respond to controller. Not paired; low battery (quadcopter or controller); out of range.Re-pair the quadcopter and controller. Charge quadcopter battery. Replace controller batteries. Ensure quadcopter is within 2.4 GHz range.
Short flight time.Battery not fully charged; aging battery.Ensure battery is fully charged (approx. 60 min). Battery life naturally decreases over time.
Quadcopter drifts during flight. Not properly calibrated; environmental factors (wind).Perform trim adjustments using the trim buttons on the controller. Fly in calm conditions.
Propellers do not spin or spin unevenly.Damaged propeller; motor issue; obstruction.Check for obstructions. Replace damaged propellers. If problem persists, contact support.
3D flip not working.Insufficient height; low battery.Ensure quadcopter is at least 3 meters high. Charge battery fully.
