Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Press down on the tab and slide the cover downwards to remove it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use
Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use. No pairing is typically required for this replacement unit; it should function directly with compatible Twin Star Electric Fireplace Heaters.
Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly towards the electric fireplace heater's receiver. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace.
- POWER: Press to turn the fireplace heater ON or OFF.
- FLAME: Press to cycle through different flame brightness settings or to turn the flame effect ON/OFF.
- SPEED: Press to adjust the fan speed for heat distribution. Multiple settings may be available.
- TIMER: Press to set the operating timer for the fireplace. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to adjust the timer duration.

Maintenance
