Setup

Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
Place the main unit on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the system.
Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas with high humidity.

Connecting Power

Connect the power cord to the AC IN jack on the rear of the main unit.
Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard AC wall outlet (120V AC, 60Hz).

Antenna Connection (FM Radio)

Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM ANT jack on the rear of the unit.
Extend the antenna fully and position it for optimal FM reception.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the unit or remote control to turn the system on or off.

Source Selection

Press the FUNCTION button on the unit or the corresponding source button (CD, Bluetooth, FM/AM, USB, AUDIO IN) on the remote control to switch between input sources.

CD Playback

Press the CD button to select the CD source.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
Place up to 5 CDs on the tray with the label side facing up.
Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray.
Playback will begin automatically. Use PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and SEARCH buttons for control.

Bluetooth Connection

Press the BLUETOOTH button to select the Bluetooth source. The display will show "BLUETOOTH STANDBY".
On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for "SHARP CD-BH350".
Select "SHARP CD-BH350" to pair. Once connected, the display will show "BLUETOOTH CONNECTED".
You can now stream audio from your device to the system.

FM Radio Operation

Press the FM/AM button to select the FM radio source.
Press the TUNE +/- buttons to manually tune to a station.
Press and hold TUNE +/- to automatically scan for the next available station.
To preset a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press MEMORY followed by a preset number (1-30).

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel.
Press the USB button to select the USB source.
The system will automatically detect and play compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
Use the navigation buttons to browse folders and tracks.

Audio In (AUX)

Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUDIO IN jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
Press the AUDIO IN button to select this source.
Control playback from your connected device.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

Before cleaning, ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet.
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.

CD Lens Care

Avoid touching the CD lens inside the CD compartment.
If playback issues occur due to a dirty lens, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner disc.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
No power	Power cord not securely connected.	Ensure the power cord is firmly plugged into the unit and the wall outlet.
No sound	Volume is too low or muted. Incorrect source selected.	Increase the volume. Press the MUTE button if activated. Select the correct input source.
CD does not play	CD is dirty, scratched, or inserted incorrectly.	Clean the CD with a soft cloth. Check for scratches. Ensure the CD is inserted label-side up.
Bluetooth pairing fails	Device is too far from the unit. Bluetooth is not enabled on the device.	Move the device closer to the unit. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and "SHARP CD-BH350" is selected.
Poor FM reception	Antenna not properly positioned or connected.	Adjust the FM antenna for better reception. Ensure it is securely connected.
