Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your COMICA Vimo S UC wireless microphone system:

1. Charge the System: Place both transmitters and the receiver into the charging case. The case features a digital display to show the battery life. Connect the USB C to USB A charging cable to the charging case and a power source.
2. Connect the Receiver: Plug the USB-C receiver directly into the USB-C port of your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The system is designed for plug-and-play operation, requiring no manual pairing.
3. Power On Transmitters: The transmitters will automatically power on and pair with the receiver once removed from the charging case.
4. Attach Transmitters: Clip the transmitters onto the clothing of the speaker(s) using the integrated back-clip design. Ensure the microphone is positioned optimally for clear audio capture.

Operating Instructions

Maximize your audio recording quality with these operating features:

• Gain Control: The receiver features a stepless gain control dial (orange) that allows you to freely adjust the audio input volume. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the gain as needed for optimal sound levels.
• One-Click Noise Cancellation: The transmitters are equipped with a built-in DSP denoising chip. Press the dedicated noise cancellation button on the transmitter to activate or deactivate the intelligent noise reduction function. A green light indicator on the transmitter shows when denoising is active.
• One-Touch Muting: To temporarily mute the microphone, press the mute button on the transmitter. A red light indicator will illuminate when the microphone is muted.
• Mono/Stereo Output: The receiver supports both mono and stereo output modes. Use the M/S switch button on the receiver to toggle between these modes. The mode indicator light will show blue for mono mode and will be off for stereo mode. This allows for recording two separate audio tracks when using both transmitters.
• Real-time Monitoring: Connect headphones to the USB-C charging and monitoring port on the receiver to monitor your audio in real-time during recording. This port can also be used for charging the receiver while in use.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the transmitters, receiver, and charging case. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the system in its charging case to protect it from dust and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge the system to approximately 50% every three months to preserve battery health.
• Wind Muffs: Regularly check and clean the wind muffs. Replace them if they become worn or damaged to maintain effective wind noise reduction.
