- CR2032 Button Cell Battery (pre-installed or included)
- 5.0V AC Power Adapter
- User Manual (this document)
Setup
1. Powering On the Device
The WT522 alarm clock can be powered by the included AC adapter for continuous operation and display, or by the CR2032 button cell battery for backup purposes (maintaining time settings during power outages).
- Insert the CR2032 button cell battery into the battery compartment, observing polarity. This battery primarily serves as a backup for settings.
- Connect the 5.0V AC power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the alarm clock.
- Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will illuminate.
2. Initial Radio-Controlled Time Synchronization
Upon initial power-up, the clock will automatically attempt to synchronize with the radio-controlled time signal. This process may take several minutes to several hours depending on your location and signal strength.
- Place the clock near a window for optimal signal reception.
- Avoid placing it near electronic devices that may cause interference.
- A signal icon will appear on the display when synchronization is successful.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting Time and Date Manually (if radio signal is unavailable)
While the clock is designed for radio-controlled time, you can set the time and date manually if needed.
- Press and hold the SET button (location typically on the back or top) for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
- Press SET again to confirm and move to the next setting.
- Repeat until all settings are complete. The clock will exit setting mode automatically after a few seconds of inactivity.
2. Setting Alarms
The WT522 features two independent alarms.
- Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to view the respective alarm time.
- Press and hold the ALARM button (for the desired alarm) for 3 seconds to enter alarm setting mode.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
- Press the ALARM button again to confirm each setting.
- To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the corresponding ALARM button briefly. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
3. Using the Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (usually a large button on top) to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5-10 minutes (duration may vary).
4. Adjusting Time Projection
The integrated projector allows you to display the time onto a wall or ceiling.
- Locate the projector lens on the side of the unit.
- Adjust the angle of the projector arm to direct the time display.
- Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens to sharpen the projected image.
- Some models may have a button to rotate the projected image 180 degrees.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Device
- Wipe the surface of the clock with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
- Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.
2. Battery Replacement
The CR2032 button cell battery is for backup purposes. Replace it when the low battery indicator appears or if the clock loses settings during a power outage.
- Unplug the AC adapter.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back or bottom of the unit.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Reconnect the AC adapter.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank or dim. | No power, AC adapter not connected, or backlight setting is too low. | Ensure AC adapter is securely plugged in. Check wall outlet. Press the LIGHT/DIMMER button to increase brightness. |
| Clock not synchronizing with radio signal. | Poor signal reception, interference, or incorrect time zone setting. | Move the clock closer to a window. Keep away from other electronics. Perform a manual time set if signal is consistently poor. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Alarm not activated, alarm volume too low (if adjustable), or incorrect alarm time set. | Ensure the alarm icon is visible on the display. Verify alarm time. |
| Projected time is blurry. | Projector not focused. | Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the image is clear. |
