4. Setup
4.1 Installing the MicroSD Card
The dash cam requires a MicroSD card for recording. A 32GB MicroSD card is included. Ensure the card is inserted correctly before use.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the dash cam.
- Insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
- It is recommended to format the MicroSD card within the dash cam's settings menu upon first use and periodically thereafter to ensure optimal performance.
4.2 Mounting the Dash Cam
Use the provided suction mount to securely attach the dash cam to your vehicle's windshield.
- Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Apply the windshield protective film first if desired.
- Attach the suction mount to the dash cam.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and flip the lever to secure it.
- Adjust the camera angle to ensure a clear view of the road ahead, typically centered with the hood visible at the bottom of the frame.
4.3 Power Connection
Connect the dash cam to your vehicle's power source using the provided car charger.
- Plug the small end of the car charger cable into the dash cam's power port.
- Plug the larger end of the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- Route the cable neatly along the windshield and dashboard using the crowbar tool to tuck it into crevices, ensuring it does not interfere with driving.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Automatic Recording and Loop Recording
Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. The loop recording feature ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest unlocked video files when the MicroSD card is full.
- Video files are typically saved in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes).
- When the card is full, the camera will automatically delete the oldest unlocked file to make space for new recordings.

5.2 Emergency Recording (G-Sensor)
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
- Locked files are stored in a separate folder on the MicroSD card.
- Adjust the G-Sensor sensitivity in the settings menu if needed.

5.3 Parking Monitoring
This feature provides surveillance when your vehicle is parked. With an optional hardwire kit (not included), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle for impacts or motion even when the engine is off.
- When an impact is detected (via G-Sensor) or motion is detected (if enabled), the camera will automatically start recording.
- These recordings are also locked to prevent overwriting.

5.4 WDR Night Vision
The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology enhances video quality in low-light conditions, ensuring clearer recordings at night or in tunnels. Combined with a large F1.8 aperture, the camera captures more light for improved visibility.

5.5 Accessing Recorded Footage
You can view recorded videos directly on the dash cam's screen or transfer them to a computer.
- On-Device Playback: Use the navigation buttons on the dash cam to browse and play back recorded files.
- Computer Transfer: Connect the dash cam to your computer using the provided Type C USB cable. The device will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to copy video files. Alternatively, remove the MicroSD card and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Dash Cam
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and screen.
- Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the lens or screen.
6.2 MicroSD Card Management
- Regularly format the MicroSD card (e.g., once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure smooth recording. This can be done through the camera's settings menu.
- Back up any important video files to a computer before formatting, as formatting will erase all data on the card.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dash cam does not power on. | No power from car charger; faulty cable; internal battery drained. | Check car charger connection and vehicle's 12V outlet. Try a different USB cable or car charger. Ensure vehicle's ignition is on. |
| Camera falls from windshield. | Suction cup not properly secured; dirty windshield; extreme temperature changes. | Clean windshield and suction cup thoroughly. Ensure the lever is fully engaged. Reapply the suction cup. Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods if possible. |
| Recording stops or MicroSD card error. | MicroSD card full or corrupted; incompatible card; card speed too low. | Format the MicroSD card in the camera. Use a high-speed (Class 10 or U3) MicroSD card. Replace the card if issues persist. |
| Video footage is blurry or unclear. | Protective film on lens; dirty lens; incorrect focus. | Remove any protective film from the lens. Clean the lens with a soft cloth. Ensure the camera is securely mounted and not vibrating. |
| Parking mode not working as expected. | No continuous power supply; G-Sensor sensitivity too low/high. | Parking monitoring requires a continuous power supply (hardwire kit recommended). Adjust G-Sensor sensitivity in settings. |
| Date and time reset after power off. | Internal battery depleted or faulty. | Ensure the camera is connected to power for a sufficient period to charge its internal battery. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
