Thank you for choosing the CHESONA Keyboard Case. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your new keyboard case, designed to enhance your iPad experience with its detachable wireless keyboard, multiple viewing angles, and robust protection.

Setup Guide

1. Attaching Your iPad to the Case

1. Gently align your iPad with the protective shell of the case.
2. Press firmly around the edges of the iPad until it clicks securely into place. Ensure all corners are properly seated.

2. Pairing the Wireless Keyboard via Bluetooth

1. Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. (Refer to "Charging the Keyboard" section).
2. Slide the OFF/ON switch on the keyboard to the ON position. The power indicator light will illuminate briefly.
3. Press the Connect button on the keyboard. The Bluetooth indicator light will start blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
5. Turn on Bluetooth. Your iPad will search for available devices.
6. Locate "Bluetooth Keyboard" (or similar name) in the "Other Devices" list and tap on it.
7. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will turn off.

The keyboard will automatically connect to your iPad when turned on, provided Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad and they have been previously paired.

Operating Instructions

Using Shortcut Keys

The keyboard features a row of multi-function shortcut keys for quick access to common iPad functions. These include:

• Home
• Brightness adjustment (increase/decrease)

• Volume control (mute/decrease/increase)

Adjusting Viewing Angles

The case offers three adjustable viewing angles to suit your needs for typing, watching videos, or browsing:

• 115° angle
• 120° angle
• 130° angle

Simply adjust the iPad's position within the case to achieve the desired angle.

Charging the Keyboard

1. Connect the USB-C end of the charging cable to the charging port on the keyboard.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours and provides approximately 80 hours of working time or over 100 days of standby time.

Care and Maintenance

• Keep the keyboard case away from liquids and extreme temperatures.
• Clean the case and keyboard with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• When not in use for extended periods, turn off the keyboard to conserve battery life.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the keyboard case to prevent damage to the keys or iPad screen.
