4.3 Focus and Keystone Adjustment

4.4 Connectivity

The projector offers multiple ways to connect your devices:

  • HDMI: Connect devices like TV sticks, gaming consoles (PS5), laptops, or DVD players using an HDMI cable.
  • USB: Plug in USB flash drives for direct media playback.
  • Wireless Screen Mirroring (5GHz Wi-Fi): Connect iOS, Android, and Windows devices wirelessly. (Note: Due to copyright protections, streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu do not support screen mirroring.)
  • Bluetooth 5.1: Pair with external Bluetooth headphones or speakers for enhanced audio.
  • AV/RJ45: For older devices or wired network connections.

5. Operating

5.1 Basic Navigation

Use the included remote control or the control panel on top of the projector to navigate the on-screen menu. Select your desired input source (HDMI, USB, Screen Mirroring, etc.) from the main menu.

5.2 Picture Settings

Access the 'Picture' menu to adjust settings such as brightness, contrast, color temperature, and aspect ratio. The projector features 700 ANSI lumens brightness and native 1080P resolution with 4K support for crisp and clear images.

5.3 Sound Settings

The built-in 20W speakers provide an enhanced auditory experience. You can adjust the volume and other sound modes through the 'Sound' menu. For a more immersive experience, connect external speakers via Bluetooth or the 3.5mm audio port.

5.4 Screen Size Adjustment

The projector offers 60-100% zoom, allowing screen adjustments up to 300 inches without relocating the projector. Adjust the screen size using the remote control or on-device settings to fit your viewing area.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Dust Filter

The NexiGo PJ40 has a built-in dust filter. Regularly clean the dust filter and its holder with a clean, dry cloth to ensure optimal performance and prevent overheating. It is recommended to clean the filter cover on a monthly basis.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Image: Check power connections and ensure the correct input source is selected. Verify HDMI/USB cables are securely connected.
  • Blurred Image: Adjust the focus wheel. Ensure the projector is at an optimal distance from the screen.
  • Distorted Image: Use keystone correction (manual or automatic) to adjust the image shape.
  • No Sound: Check volume settings on the projector and connected device. Ensure external speakers/headphones are properly connected or paired via Bluetooth.
  • Screen Mirroring Issues: Ensure both the projector and your device are connected to the same 5GHz Wi-Fi network. Remember that some streaming services do not support screen mirroring due to copyright.
  • Overheating: Ensure proper ventilation around the projector. Clean the dust filter regularly. The adjustable fan level (1-10) can help manage noise and cooling.
