This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Ctronics 2K Solar Security Camera. This camera system is designed for outdoor surveillance, offering advanced features such as 2K resolution, pan/tilt capabilities, and AI/PIR detection.
2. Product Overview
The Ctronics 2K Solar Security Camera is a wireless, battery-powered surveillance solution equipped with a solar panel for continuous charging. It features a 3600 view, full HD color night vision, and intelligent detection capabilities.

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port (located under the protective cover at the bottom) and to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
4.2 App Download and Account Creation
Download the Ctronics app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Search for "Ctronics". Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.
4.3 Camera Pairing and Wi-Fi Connection
- Ensure your camera is fully charged and powered on.
- Open the Ctronics app and tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon.
- Select your camera model from the list.
- Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the installation location.

4.4 Physical Installation
Choose a suitable outdoor location for your camera and solar panel. The solar panel should receive direct sunlight for several hours daily to ensure optimal charging. The recommended installation height for the camera is 2.6-3 meters above the ground for effective human detection.
- Mark the drilling positions using the mounting bracket as a template.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
- Attach the camera to its mounting bracket.
- Attach the solar panel to its mounting bracket and connect its cable to the camera's charging port.

5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
Open the Ctronics app and select your camera to view the live feed. Use the on-screen controls to pan the camera horizontally up to 3550 and tilt vertically up to 950, allowing for comprehensive area monitoring.

5.2 Two-Way Audio
The camera supports two-way audio communication. Tap the microphone icon in the live view interface to speak through the camera's speaker, and listen to audio from the camera's microphone.

5.3 Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera features PIR (Passive Infrared) and AI human detection. When motion or a human figure is detected, the camera will send instant alerts to your smartphone. You can adjust sensitivity settings within the app to minimize false alarms.

5.4 Night Vision Modes
The camera offers multiple night vision modes, including FHD color night vision and infrared night vision, allowing clear visibility up to 20 meters in low-light conditions.

5.5 Recording and Playback
The camera supports local storage via a TF (microSD) card (up to 128GB, not included). Recorded events can be viewed and managed through the Ctronics app's playback feature.

5.6 Multi-User Sharing and Remote Access
You can share live streams and recorded videos with family and friends directly through the Ctronics app. The camera supports remote access, allowing you to monitor your property from anywhere with an internet connection.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Charging and Solar Panel Efficiency
The camera is powered by a rechargeable battery and continuously charged by the solar panel. Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves) to maximize charging efficiency. Periodically wipe the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth.

6.2 Cleaning
Regularly clean the camera lens and the solar panel to ensure clear image quality and efficient charging. Use a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.3 Firmware Updates
Periodically check the Ctronics app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Ctronics camera, please refer to the common problems and solutions below. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
- Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Check Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Restart your router and camera.
- Poor video quality: Check your Wi-Fi connection stability. Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions.
- Motion detection issues: Adjust the motion detection sensitivity in the app. Ensure the camera's field of view is clear and not obstructed by moving objects like tree branches.
- Battery not charging: Ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight. Clean the solar panel surface. Check the connection between the solar panel and the camera.
- Camera offline: Check Wi-Fi connection. Ensure the camera battery is charged. Restart the camera.
