1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the CubiCubi Electric Standing Desk. This desk is designed to provide a versatile and ergonomic workspace, allowing you to easily switch between sitting and standing positions. This manual provides detailed instructions for assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure safe and efficient use of your new desk.

2. Safety Information

• Read all instructions carefully before assembly and use.
• Keep children and pets away from the desk during operation.

4. Setup & Assembly

Assembly typically requires one person and takes approximately 30-60 minutes. An Allen wrench is provided; a screwdriver may also be required for certain steps (not included).

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach the lifting columns to the desktop using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
3. Install the foot pads onto the bottom of the lifting columns.
4. Connect the motor cables to the control box and the control panel cable to the control box.
5. Mount the control panel to the underside of the desktop in a convenient location.
6. Attach the storage hooks to the side of the desktop as desired.
7. Carefully flip the desk upright.
8. Plug the power adapter into the control box and then into a wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Height Adjustment

• Up/Down Buttons: Use the ^ (Up) and v (Down) buttons on the control panel for momentary height adjustments. The desk will move as long as the button is pressed.
• The desk can be adjusted from a minimum height of 27.4 inches (69.6 cm) to a maximum height of 45.5 inches (115.6 cm).

5.2 Memory Presets

The control panel features 3 preset buttons (1, 2, S) to store and recall your preferred sitting and standing heights.

1. To Set a Preset: Adjust the desk to your desired height using the Up/Down buttons. Press and hold one of the preset buttons (1, 2, or S) until you hear a beep or the display flashes, indicating the height has been saved.
2. To Use a Preset: Press the desired preset button (1, 2, or S). The desk will automatically move to the stored height.

5.3 Anti-Collision Technology

The desk is equipped with an anti-collision sensor. If the desk encounters an obstruction during height adjustment, it will automatically stop and reverse slightly to prevent damage or injury.

5.4 Reset Procedure

If the desk is not functioning correctly or displays an error code, a reset may be necessary.

• To reset the desk, press and hold the v (Down) button for 5 seconds. The desk will move to its lowest position and then slightly up, indicating a successful reset.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the desk surface and frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Cable Management: Periodically check that all cables are neatly organized and not pinched or tangled, especially during height adjustments.
• Fastener Check: Occasionally check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
• Motor Care: The electric lift system is designed for durability. Avoid excessive or continuous operation without short breaks to prevent overheating.
